A while back I made a thread here on /pol/ which primarily exposed the Jewish role in mass immigration of non-Whites to White countries. It contained many links to archived news articles. This was one of the most important collections of simple, straightforward, and easily confirmable redpills I had ever assembled that even the most clueless midwit Redditnigger could understand. My intention was to repost it periodically on any website that allowed it, but
I lost all of my files.
All of my memes and copypastas are gone except for what I can resurrect from the 4chan archives.
There is one set of files and copypastas I want back above all else: the ones I posted here in that thread. I've tried finding the thread in the Wayback Machine, but it's not clear if it ever got archived. Here's how you can help:
1. A thread ID number so I can be absolutely certain it's not in the Wayback Machine
2. Share any files you saved, even if it's just one.
3. If you can provide a unique text string from the thread, I may be able to recover many copypastas and files from the 4chan archives.
4. There were some rare webms with sound that don't get shared much because of the limitations of 4/pol/. In particular there was that one pastor who was indoctrinating a bunch of kids literally telling them, “The Jews are better than us.”

It would be nice to have a /flash board. I know it's a retro thing, but I believe there's something special about being able to share an animated film or simple game as a single SWF file that is only like 700kB because it's all vector graphics like SVG. I don't think the 'modern' replacements to flash are any good at all, you can't encapsulate an entire experience like a game in a single file without it being something dangerous like a Windows executable.
I think the SWF format is something special - simple files with extremely low file size that you can pass around without the user having to execute a binary, a very friendly free program called Macromedia Flash for making the animations.

There has been some discussion on the topic. Ourchan is an imageboard that harkens to the good days of the 2000s. It must not have much in the way of explicit rules. They will get ruleslawered by kike/feds. We've also seen what that did to reddit, space battles, etc. Nor is it in keeping with the Anon ethos. On the other hand, as recent events have shown, Ourchan needs a model of unacceptable behavior. There has also been a sentiment for effort-posting and quality.
Thus I propose the following:
A read-only board /dis/ containing legal examples of post behavior that would get deleted, moved, or banned. The sticky would be:

I have found a problem with WebP uploads. Basically the one you upload is not the same as the one someone else downloads. The latter is of inferior quality and if this one is then uploaded again the quality further worsens. Please fix this as soon as possible as I would like to usher us into the WebP era of posting where images have small file sizes and load quickly even on slow internet connections due to 30-50% better compression efficiency being achieved over standard JPG/PNG/GIF image formats. I'm willing to dedicate some of my time to creating them with high quality instead of the slop quality WebP you see in say 9gag.

1. Allow reporting threads from the Overboard catalog. I don't see a way to do it, and many of these threads I do not want to open at all.

they are a BLIGHT upon good imageboards. They started off as a way to contain traffic - specifically, for 4/v/ to contain all the league of ass faggots threads that were cluttering up v. This site isn't anywhere near fast enough right now to require them to follow individual discussions, we can post a thread and come back to it days later just fine.
Unfortunately though, generals have morphed into something far far worse. They now exist (especially on /pol/ boards) as this weird little community-within-a-community, a splintered off walled garden for people who don't fit in with the rest of the board's culture and would otherwise get bullied for it until they learned to fit in- it's like an airlock designed to keep the rest of the site out and their little in-group fully self contained. The problem with this was that every other board that wasn't /pol/ ended up being completely dead. The art board was dead; the literature board was dead; the history board was dead. Because when people wanted to discuss those topics, they would make the post about that topic on /pol/ rather than on /art/, for example. After all, the reason they came to frenschan in the first place was to discuss how those topics pertain to the White race or to racial politics in general.
Is there a way of preventing this problem on ourchan?
Or is it doomed to be this way on any such site that markets itself as an imageboard explicitly about White nationalism?

Please review this thread and the posted thread in the OP. It seems like there are influencing teams that are utilizing the same titles, images, and talking points to make threads on both 4chan and ourchan. I think it would be prudent to make a bot that scans 4plebs or the 4chan archive and prevents posts with the same content being made, as well as prevent threads with the exact same content beimg posted over and over. Obviously it will require fine tuning, but you might be able to have ai agents create 2/3 evaluations to see whether threads are shills or not.
Google released a bot called shieldly which is open source and free, and moderates for porn and so on. Could be useful.

Baseball season just started at the beginning of the month and having somewhat regular anons posting would be good fun. The /mlb/ threads were always enjoyable back on 4trans
/ck/ and /fit/ always struck me as a fairly narrow topics and I don't think any discussion of general fitness and wellbeing is complete without discussing diet. Exercise and diet are both parts of fitness, you can't do one and not the other.
The alternate I was thinking of is a board called /sig/, which would contain anything related to improving one's "fitness," broadly defined to include any and all improvement of mind and particularly the body.
I think this more accurately strikes at the root interest. Men in /our/ cultural sphere are generally interested in all avenues of self-improvement, while fitness/strength training and cooking/nutrition are just areas of improvement within self-improvement. They would play well together, and board topics being broad generally drives more activity. Activity that includes cross-pollination between areas which creates more interesting thought. Boards that are too specific tend to die out.
8/pol/ had a wonderful rule where posts had to have a certain amount of characters before posting. This encouraged higher effort posts and better quality of dialog. I'm starting to see the same low effort posts that made 4troons into a shit hole here like posts with one sentence and a link. These post really don't do a lot for meaningful dialog and they should be discouraged. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

One thing I learned from 4/his/ was that threads could last multiple days and even a week sometimes, and because of this they just turned IDs off. I guess it was actually more confusing leaving them on since IPs would change over the course of a day as people changed locations.
Not having a persistent thread ID until the end of the thread is annoying, and the longer a conversation continues the harder it is to follow. Since tripfagging is manual and it's annoying to do a new tripcode for every thread, it's not a practical fix for this issue.
A voluntary option to store a thread session cookie is a way to fix this. The settings interface should provide a way to delete individual thread cookies if desired. You can debate whether or not the cookie should be opt-in or opt-out but personally I think it should be opt-out. That way newfags won't easily samefag.
Also consider how this feature would interact with flags. It's probably not fair to reveal someone is using a VPN when their flag changes but not their ID, so I think the cookie would need to store the original flag for the public post. Moderators may need to see the real flag on their end.

Without absolute time stamps it is absolutely impossible to get a sense of when the posts in the screen grab happened and this impossible to get a sense of context. It's the same cancer as with Twitter / X. Ever saw a screenshot of a post and wonder when exactly this happened? And it was some arbitrary number like 2 weeks, 3 months, 4 years ago? This is by design.
The only reason for relative time is if you want to distort truth and dismiss facts. Change it and if you just have it at all change it so absolute time always shows anyways.

I don't know why /v/ isn't here yet, but in principle there shouldn't be a rule against it since /tv/ is here. I think the issue is just that this site has been slowly expanding the board list as the userbase and administration team grows.
If you are unsure about adding more boards at the moment, my advice is to just do it anyway at least as a temporary measure. If adding them fails to attract people before 4chan comes back online, the boards can be closed and their threads moved to /gen/.
If ourchan signals that it will be accommodating for refugees and their interests, it will attract more people. The altchan competition is actually terrible at the moment. If people know about this place, they will prefer it.

Since this chan doesn't have an off-site archive create a new archive board that permanently stores threads that passed 100 replies when they were active. Once this site reaches a high amount of daily posters that threshold may have to be increased but I think its a good place to start.

To avoid this I propose that news articles posted without a link should result in a warning and if repeated a 3 day ban. My advice is if you ever encounter something bad enough to delete, do not tell people to spoiler it as it implies it might be allowed if spoilered. I didn't see the image, so I don't know why you would tell someone to spoiler it as opposed to just not ever posting it.

I was pretty good friends with the former owners of the now defunct Frenschan and what ultimately killed the site was a lack of moderators and a targeted spam campaign by people who wanted to kill Frenschan. At the end the two owners were moderating the site themselves and spending all day constantly removing cheese pizza and fedposts because they weren't able to recruit more people to be moderators and the soul destroying spam just kept coming. Requiring easy account creation to post would help cut down on spam and allow more leeway for moderators when policing this place.

I had a funny idea...
Suppose I am vegetarian. I create a website praising the vegetarian life. But there are those who like meat, from Serbia or Texas for example. And my website gets trolled by specific meat activists.
Now on my server I could ban such people, via their IP addresses or range of such addresses.
Or... if I'm savvy, I could create another version of the website that shows up, when those specific IP addresses / IP range shows up. It can be whatever I want, it could be a really lame version of the real website, enough to make them think they're getting through, but isolated from my main website and its content. Or it could be something else. It could even be a meat-eating website that praises the carnivore life but in such a way that it is subtly ridiculous. Or maybe even so boring that no one will bother looking anymore.
This would be temporary because if they start VPN hopping/DNS server changing etc. they may get through anyhow.
Wouldn't that be interesting? Might be a lot of work however. And it might be unproductive if people see through it. Or if I am a truthful guy I may want to proclaim who I am to all regardless. Or I might want to keep quiet. IDK.

Halfchan /his/ has serious problems that could be partly solved by IP range blocks. It doesn't have a big user base to begin with but such a board accompanies and potentially assists /pol/ in various ways so it would be nice to have.
However, ourchan moderation should make a decision ahead of time whether or not theological discussion should be allowed. I don't recommend it, because half the threads on the other /his/ are atheism vs theism bait threads and theological spam that belongs on a religion board. So as it stands, halfchan /his/ can't even focus on history and is constantly disrupted. If extended religious discussion (a totally separate thing from the history of religion) is allowed anywhere, it should be on a dedicated religion board /rel/ in my opinion.
A /his/ board should allow at a minimum the discussion of history, archaeology, genetics, linguistics, and anthropology. Opening the floor to the "humanities" should exclude religion but philosophy could be okay. The main issue is philosophical discussion potentially opens the door to the disruptive (a)theism bait threads. Maybe philosophy would be okay as long as that is explicitly banned along with theological debates. Otherwise philosophy would need to go to a /rel/ board.
If what I'm saying about religion sounds complicated or like a hassle, just remember history, archaeology, genetics, linguistics, and anthropology are all that's needed at a minimum. /rel/ isn't needed as badly as a simpler /his/.
