allow us to create our own boards

that is an incredibly bad idea without a much larger userbase, to be honest
site would benefit way more from compression than further expansion if anything

A long time anon on here suggested a board (or boards), allowing OP to optionally mod their own thread yet allowing mods and jannies to step in if needed. I think it's a great idea that should be considered, if it's straight-forward enough to code and implement.
what, so you can try and ban me next now too?

Not sure if anyone mentioned, but boards will have to be delisted, simply reason being boards like pop came into being because we were not sure that v and tv could work on their own because userbase was very small back then. Also gen, out and diy dont have to be deleted, but put on a temporary hiatus, like hidden for example until userbase grows a bit.

I've tried making new threads for the past few days and I can't. In order to start a thread you need to post an image and the board won't accept any image that I give it.

that's not a terrible idea at all long as you lock them off if nobody is watching them

that comes off sarcastic but isn't intended to

I've noticed Canadian flags have been given exclusively to Tor exit nodes, previously this was not the case and I've gotten a wide range of flags, it's not an ip block thing since I am posting through the various nodes still, I am simply curious why this is happening?

Not a pressing matter by any means just a nootice

living in this country is a grey hell of the kind described in greek mythology. Everything is going wrong but the system won't allow people to tell each other what the problem is openly and so they go about like clueless lemmings in an ever degrading cage. I see negative headlines every single day, but according to the experts™ Carney the clown is a popularly elected leader who supposedly enjoys the confidence of most of the country.

Just who are these "Canadians" who believe in "our shared values" despite the clear fact they are leading us to ruin, you ask?

I prefer .onion, but this site requires Javascript and submitting a captcha enabled to post through the .onion, kinda self-defeats the purpose of having the .onion

it seems to have stopped, but over the past couple days I stopped being able to see the site settings button and change the theme to dark mode on the safest setting for Tor for android. I also can't do block bypass without javascript anymore. please reverse these changes, they are very gay and my eyes hurt from all the brightness.

bro just get in the habit of using archive.is, I've been using it to pre-emptively preserve my posts in case of mod unreasonability for years

some sites will expect you to bareback and then some idiot mod will kneejerk at a couple posts and IP wipe you, wiping out hundreds of posts from weeks all over a site
as a bonus those are typically the kind of mods that want to bullshit and lie through their teeth about it after the fact, so you then have incontrovertible proof, too

ok so that's 3 mystery boards I know the URIs of

typically that is a BO call, they can unlist the board in the settings if they want
iirc it doesn't show up in the overboard either at least by default

t. not "staff"
ofc I have no idea the history of how all these boards even came to be, if there was a period of open creation or not

Another Anon posted:
>I think what might be a good idea is to have every board have some curated threads with required information to knpw for every subject. /g/ has anti-malware, best practices, resource sites; /out/ has some survival links; /o/ has most reliable vehicles, links on how to lewrn repair; etc. It's all very subjective, but it would immensely help people looking for good information, and a curated sticky with good links for every board subject would be great.

Not a bad Idea.

Further:
>I'd like to see an locked example board containing the nonsense that 4Chan has in /pol/, /his/, /x/ as an object lesson of do not do this.

I'd like to get a better understanding of this one, but It may merit consideration.
Might be a good surrogate for the "Questions that don't deserve their own threads" Threads that used to be on each board on other chans.

Also, you guys might consider a donation button at the bottom for operating costs like an archive server or library integration.
GitGud repo already has the code, I believe.

(OP again)
It's strange how many newcomers to the boards wanted to implement B&Hammers and heavy restrictions-(or conversely strict parameters on what to post and where,) since we've already been through the NiggerDickSpammer™
(That always makes me chuckle a bit since he was copying off my habit of satirically putting "™" on all kinds of POZZ,) and then the deluge of DOGE droppings for the next 3 months.
Ironically, it was these incursions and affronts to the site that kicked the dev and Mods into "Hardening MODE" and made the flood of 4FAIL refugggees much easier to handle due to the modifications.
Sure, it was messy, but even though it's arguable that there's a lot more refinement to go, much of the Technicals have been worked out favorably.
There was an anon who asked about B&ing Niggers on /ck/ so it could be a refuge from the onslaught we endure everyday IRL and in ((( MEDIA ))), an my reply was;
>"NOPE! while Nigger Worship and aggrandizement should rightfully receive the contempt that it merits, limiting posters from even the ability to post the retarded antics of niggers as they Ape the actions of Whites, and flagrantly display their unsuitability to adapt to Western White culture should absolutely be allowed.

nearly every single one of the loudest complainers about moderation turns into the absolute worst kind of trannyjannies when given the hammer themselves
I used to go out of my way to get the ones complaining the most about the dumbest kind of shit nobody should realistically be complaining about to be mods, specifically because of it

If you already have Telegram on your phone, join the channel, but otherwise, waiting for a reply here from a MOD, Dev or Site owner would be best.
Some Monero for the archive server would be appreciated.

Bump for visibility.

Henlo ser, i wouldnt know what to suggest for now as plans are still in the making. I would say hold off for now as we plan on such possibilities.
I would support the archive plan but i am not sure what capabilities we currently have.
We'll get back to you on this with a proper statement when we have something more concrete for you!

Top ZOZZLE!
This is still another good, FOOD4Thots thread, but the first purchase should really be a dedicated archive.
That might be a good draw for other serious anons, since long term effort posts won't just be flushed into the abyss, and there won't be a need for 6 Gorrilion Archive.is links for individual threads.
Too soon, but maybe not for long.

There has been some discussion on the topic. Ourchan is an imageboard that harkens to the good days of the 2000s. It must not have much in the way of explicit rules. They will get ruleslawered by kike/feds. We've also seen what that did to reddit, space battles, etc. Nor is it in keeping with the Anon ethos. On the other hand, as recent events have shown, Ourchan needs a model of unacceptable behavior. There has also been a sentiment for effort-posting and quality.

Thus I propose the following:
A read-only board /dis/ containing legal examples of post behavior that would get deleted, moved, or banned. The sticky would be:
https://ourchan.org/meta/thread/2140.html
Examples of ((( glow ))), low-effort, and kikery would be culled from 4Chan and here. It can be added to as needed. Newfags can be directed there.

Potentially, boards could have 1-2 specific rules.

What do you anons think?
Replies: >>3215 >>3219
>>3214 (OP)
not sure. common sense seems to reign supreme here. /pol/ isn't on par with 2018 dblchan but more a throwback to preMAGAtard halfchan /pol/ of a decade ago. and I'm fine with that.
yes, there are some agents here and there and they are taken to task by both the community and the moderation team as soon as detected. if another sticky is to be added to each and every board then the only thing it need be say is "/xyz/ board is a NatSoc board". I'm sure mods are gathering information on our problematic posters in ways that our problematic posters are unaware.
