Once traffic picks up on /pol/ there should be a woman/dating/marriage/gender board. All those topics should fit in a board, but it's not needed now.

half-chan could also use
1) jobs/life/success as a board which would both be "how to get a job" and "how to get a job as X" plus "I can't get a f-ing job" as well
2) Religion/history debate/speculation. Not history. Not /x/. Historical and religious speculation. All bullshit allowed as long as there's not mindwaves or Aylmaos or whatever.

This place doesn't need these boards yet but halfchan really does and they clearly don't want to entertain that sort of discussion.

Also, this thread is good for all talk of spin off boards that halfchan lacks or which this place need.

What all you niggers need to do is make a thread general about the specific topic you want to talk about and see how much engagement your thread gets. There doesnt need to be 6 gorillion different boards for every little thing when this site is still small, we don't want people requesting for this and that and the board ends up dead, just look at /biz/, /lit/, and especially /sci/ for instance.

Just want to point out that Mike Rowe threads and other boomer tier "get a job" propaganda threads are gone from /Pol/, incel threads are mostly gone and what is there seems more organic, there are some anti-work threads and they are based.

Well, I've been here from week one, and unless you count the original GitGud writer of the code here or perhaps they've added some help, there is only one.

Now that we have a Religious containment board can we have a history board. I think one of the biggest problems of 4cucks is people kept requesting a /r/ board and jannies wouldn't do shit so the history and humanities board became a religious board with religious squabbles between atheist and theist and others and no good discussions on history or  philosophy could be had . We have a religion board to keep the religious folks entertained  could we have a /his/ board?

I'm not opposed to having a /his/ board if there is enough demand for it. If i see haplogroup autism or historical linguistics i'd probably think sci to be honest but they would be left alone on /pol/. In any case. if enough people aye it then i'll make a history specific board.

they are a BLIGHT upon good imageboards. They started off as a way to contain traffic - specifically, for 4/v/ to contain all the league of ass faggots threads that were cluttering up v. This site isn't anywhere near fast enough right now to require them to follow individual discussions, we can post a thread and come back to it days later just fine. 

Unfortunately though, generals have morphed into something far far worse. They now exist (especially on /pol/ boards) as this weird little community-within-a-community, a splintered off walled garden for people who don't fit in with the rest of the board's culture and would otherwise get bullied for it until they learned to fit in- it's like an airlock designed to keep the rest of the site out and their little in-group fully self contained. They have their own memes, their own namefags, their own culture, none of which leaves their faggy little chatrooms disguised as threads. This is a serious issue, because the ability for a community to police its own culture is vital to it having a defined culture at all. If these newfags are spread evenly across the website they all will be forced to assimilate as they interact with the locals, but if they all immigrate into the same neighborhood all at once they're not going to bother learning the local language or how to take the poo to the loo, they'll turn the neighborhood into a racial ghetto no-go-zone where nobody speaks english and everybody shits on the streets like it's normal -

/b/ should be a read-only board that randomly cycles threads every 24 hours (so anons can re-discover old based threads).  All of /b/ should be moved to /bant/. Hell must remain purely for jewjeets and glowniggers. Threads which are too awful for /bant/ should just be deleted, if they're not jewjeet in origin.

I did mention in another thread that having flags and IDs on both boards makes /b/ superfluous.
