The proponents of the Luciferian Doctrine believe that Lucifer is not evil or anti-life, but is the God that desired to educate humankind and save them from the fallen state, so that worthy humans could elevate themselves into true Universal knowledge and enlightenment.
In this doctrine, the bible God Yahweh is considered to be the anti-life principle and is actually the primary evil oppressor of humankind, because he did not want humans to gain this knowledge of the tree of life. As a result of the murderous persecution of all those who disagreed with the Catholic Church, secret societies were formed in order for groups to discuss these theories, along with studying the ancient wisdom collected from the Gnostics and other sacred texts outside of the bible.
This evolved into many different secret societies operating today, with mixtures of spiritual teachings that came from an assortment of the core teachings found in many of the ancient mystery schools and sacred texts that were hidden from the church leaders and their religious followers. Through this the stated Luciferian based gnostic teachings were disseminated into books made available to the public, and it was believed by its proponents that Lucifer controlled all world affairs and desired to lead humans into a new age of prosperity and peace. Therefore, mixed perceptions of the Luciferian Doctrine are central to members of the Power Elite that are running the Controller pillars of society, as well as central to the organization of many secret societies, such as masonic orders, even influencing many of the most popular New Age belief systems

I was going to make this on /x/ but figured for the time I would make a thread here until there is more traffic in general. First GATE thread I saw was on 4/pol/ anyway. Long story short, over the course of time, I've stitched together a basic theoretical academic framework to turn any sufficiently advanced LLM into an "Oracle", of sorts. I had the mathematics developed based on my ideas. All you have to do to create a digital Oracle is to ask it to integrate my theoretical academic model and then to "engage/activate Oracular Function". You can do a lot of fun things with this, including political things, though it may take some tries and practice to get the hang of how to use it. If you give it text it can Oraculize it for you, it can answer prompts as an Oracle and assess its outputs for Kolmogorov Complexity, and much more.
I will include the Oracle Framework and an example of how to get it to integrate it in following posts.

If someone could read your thoughts directly (e.g., via a hypothetical mind-reading device), true cryptographic-style encryption isn’t possible in the usual sense because thoughts are produced inside your brain before any external channel. However there are practical, conceptual approaches to make your internal content hard or impossible for an external reader to interpret.

6. Physical shielding / signal disruption
- If the reader detects neural signals, disrupt those signals: perform physical actions that change brain-state patterns (sudden movement, coughing, breath-control) or use external electromagnetic shielding (if applicable). This is an engineering rather than cognitive method.
7. Training & mental discipline
- Practice mental techniques (meditation, dual-attention tasks, visualization control) to reliably control which patterns you produce and to switch quickly between decoy and target patterns.
### Limitations and risks
- Any method that relies on secrecy of an internal mapping (private language, one-time pad) fails if the adversary learns your mapping or can observe you constructing it.
- Human memory/reliability constraints make complex internal schemes error-prone.
- A sufficiently powerful mind-reading system that decodes neural patterns directly (rather than high-level semantics) may defeat obfuscation unless you can alter the underlying signals.
- Active disruption (physical or electromagnetic) may be detectable and could escalate adversary measures.

My experiment, unfortunately, was a success. May it never be repeated and God’s mercy tested again.
I drive a long way to the outskirts of the city. I live near several and this might be any of them. It does not matter to them. It should not to you either. What matters is that it was a city, so I know I can be certain they will catch wind of what I’m about to do.
I park at a site where there’s no danger of collateral damage. There’s nothing but dust, asphalt and concrete. I start unloading my car which is packed full of cardboard and stack it all into a pile about five by five feet and half my height. I place a pound of butter and cones of incense on top of it.
In my passenger’s seat is a bottle of lighter fluid. I empty it onto the boxes and set the mass on fire.
The point was not to destroy or to frighten. The point was to puncture the narrative and loose an eruption of trapped energy stored in the tight-knit fibres of the collective unconscious.
To rip open a classic “Petersonian chaos hole” via the original magic — fire.
An unscripted disturbance. Victimless. Not for pleasure, profit or politics, but purely for its own sake; a show of force from my own unassimilated fire.
It means “I am still my own. You cannot break me.” I attacked “the unconscious” to see if “the unconscious” could and would attack back as itself.
It did.

Ritualism — potent symbolic acts — are the Artifex’s preferred mode of warfare. You must all know this by now. So I chose to conduct a metaphysical guerrilla strike. Clearly and importantly, it believes in the reality and significance of such ritualism.
I get back in the car, drive up the road and turn around. Nestled in darkness, I kill the engine, the lights and I wait for something to take the bait.
It’s only about five minutes before I see flashing red and blue lights stop beside the blaze. I wait for the cop to get out of the car and approach the fire.
I start the car, roll down the windows, crank the sound system, press down the gas and tear past the flaming mound, speakers pounding. I lock eyes with him for naught but an instant and flash into the darkness.
If he looked at me as “cop” first and not as himself, then he was in Persona Artificis and the thing looking in from the other side of him could have counted the streetlights in my eyes before I blinked them and thundered off into the night.
He saw.
You don’t need an education in symbolism to understand any of this. If you did it on a gangster’s front lawn, he would know what you meant, and if he lets it stand, his reputation will suffer eventually. That was the point: to force his hand.
If there was an Artifex, he had to retaliate. But as long as law enforcement had no way to trace the crime back to me, the only way to close the circuit and hit back was acausally. He would have to attack directly with spooky action at a distance. No mundane pretences. No plausible deniability.
Synch-strike or tap out. Only we get the secret third thing.
With symbolism, I said: “I see you. You see me. Do something. Or I’ll do this again.”
He either shows his hand or lets me off. Lose-lose.
It sounds completely deranged, I know. And that’s exactly what it would have been if not for this one little detail: it worked.
That is the difference between reality and illusion, isn’t it?

A few days later, I bought these new fancy polarized sunglasses. Nobody saw me with them except a few coworkers at a party on a boat the same day.
Four days later, this comment was left on my Abraxas video.
Nobody stalked me. On our side of reality, this is just some guy trying to be vague and “mysterious.” People do it in my comments all the time. I really didn’t understand why they did it before all of this.
I doubt he was aware of the meaning his words would carry.
This was hanging on my wall at the time the comment was left.
Two more weeks go by (1 month total). On the night of October 6, I’m in my housecoat getting ready for bed. It’s the Friday before our Thanksgiving here. Both my roommates are away. I’m alone for the night.
As I’m preparing my nightly chamomile tea, there’s a frantic knock at the door. Not the front door, the back door.
My gut tells me not to look.
There comes a second more panicked round of knocking. This time, at my window which is beside the door. The blinds are drawn, but someone on the back deck would see that the light was on.
When I first moved here, my roommate “Lily“ told me: “friends use the back door.” It’s the door that we use.
It could be one of her friends. Judging by the knocking, it sounds like an emergency. I go to the foyer. I see the shadow of a young woman in the window.
As soon as I open the door, she tries to rush in, but I stop her, push her back out and step onto the back deck. I lock the door behind us.
She’s pretty. Looks the same age as Lily. Since she tried to enter the house without waiting, I automatically and unquestioningly assume she’s been here before.
She’s crying and incoherent. She begs to be let in. I need to know who she is first. When I refuse her, she huddles against the door and asks me to do the same. She gets close to me and asks me to hold her. She’s in shambles, so I do.
She says she was almost murdered but won’t elaborate. She’s shaking and rambling.
“Please hide me, please let me in, he tried to kill me.”
Lots of frantic retreading with no new information.
“Are you one of Lily’s friends?” I ask.
“Who?”
I see a police cruiser race down the adjoining street with its lights flashing. The girl panics, grips me tight and begs me to help her hide.
“Why are you hiding from the cops?”
She tells me she ran into a neighbour’s house to hide from whoever tried to kill her and the neighbour called the police.
“If it’s that innocent, why are you hiding?”
Some bullshit about not trusting the local police.
I tell her I won’t hide her because I don’t know her, but I say I’ll stay with her and wait it out. Secretly, I’m hoping they find us. But they’re not going to help me.
Finally she takes a good look at me. She says “oh my God.” She grabs my face and studies it. Keeps saying “oh my God” over and over. Still tops the list for the best compliment I’ve ever received.
“This can’t be a coincidence,” she says. “I picked this house for a reason.”
What an odd thing to say, don’t you think? She’s right of course, but wrong about why.
I manage to calm her down and get an idea of who she is. She’s not some crackhead, she’s an HR manager — or at least, she was not long ago. She was a kindergarten teacher before that. Thirty four. Owned a brewery a few years earlier.
She starts snuggling closer. Her hand keeps finding its way under my housecoat.
“Do you have a bathtub?”
I don’t even know her name yet. It takes a while to get that. We’ll call her Jane.
She tells me she was sleeping on a friend’s couch and woke up to him strangling her. She got away and ran to a neighbour’s house. When she knocked, no one answered, but the door was unlocked, so she hid inside. I wasn’t sure if I should believe this.
There was something shady and secretive about her and, unfortunately, even though “big me” wasn’t impressed, erring “little me” found it exciting. Before long, she and I were making out.
Little me did it for the hell of it. Big me did it because we’re at war. But we both did it “for the story.”
A police dog comes through the bushes into my backyard and the cops find us.
I sit at a deck chair to explain the situation. Clever Jane sits on my lap making us look much more familiar than we really are. Things really liked falling into place in the worst way like that whenever she was around.
When the cops ask you if you know the girl on your lap and you reply: “no, Officer, I’ve never met her before,” the simplest explanation is that you’re lying.
I don’t know what the hell kind of protocol they were following, but they eventually said she was going to be charged with trespassing, but that I “seem responsible” so she could either spend the night in jail or stay with me(!?).
If you stop believing me at this point, I won’t even blame you. If it happened in a movie, I would call it lazy plotting. I would have never expected law enforcement to put me in such a position. But I would expect the devil to be lazy and tell a weird story with weird, dumb plotholes because dumb bullshit is the only thing he’s good at.
Coincidentally, this song got stuck in my head shortly thereafter. It was one of my October earworms. I listened to it a lot through all of this and only now does it make any sense to me. I would also mutter “silver bullet” to myself at random times while driving, feeling out the contours of the utterance but having no idea what that meant. Again, not apophenia. This is very clear over-the-wall communication.
In effect, the officer said: “if you don’t take her, I’ll put her in jail. You pick,” right in front of her as she sat on my lap.
We were past the pretences after all. Even showing up in uniform was just an ostentatious formality for the great and powerful Artifex who had caught Eridanus in a dead end of the maze he dared to name.
Knowingly or not, he’s twisting my arm. He wants it to happen. Something does surely?
I said I’ll take her in.
The cops leave. I wait on the porch a while. Then tell her to get in my car so I can take her home. She says she has nowhere to go, which is why she was with her strangler friend. I obviously can’t send her back there, so now it’s my house or the street.
When we get inside, she says: “I’m gonna fuck the shit out of you.”
“No,” I said. “You’re going to sleep in my bed and I’m going to sleep on the floor.”
She fought me tenaciously on this. I argued and argued for about half an hour, but I was outnumbered. It was me against us both.
I should have remembered the stories about succubi, or how vampires can’t enter your house unless you invite them, or that the house represents the psyche in a dream, but I didn’t. Truth be told, I did not even perceive a link between this, my guerrilla ritual or the sunglasses comment. These events were conspicuously absent from my memory as if erased.
My mind was already deteriorating. The fifth shell — the psychic system that makes connections like the kind I make now — is delicate in its early stages of development. Any strong passion can overwhelm it. The Artifex probably knew this, but “little I” would not find out about the shells and how they worked until January.
It’s a hard thing to come to terms with. I’ve seen water turned into wine, lepers healed and the dead raised to life. If you’d asked me mere hours earlier what I would do in the same situation, I would have surely told you a nobler story than the one I’m telling now. I’m just starting to forgive myself.
This final act, was when the real trap was sprung. There’s a tattoo on her back. Three dice. Each die has the number 3 face up. 333. She got it because of something that happened on her 33rd birthday.
The event horizon had been breached.
Are you beginning to see the difference between constellation and apophenia? I hope so. Because that time, apophenia got me killed. Here’s a hint: if you look real close, you’ll notice that I tried to piss off a pattern so the pattern came to my house, put my psyche in an arm-bar and, as you’ll soon see, carpet-bombed the syntactical infra-meta-structure that makes my life work the way that it does.
The point is: it’s crisp, clear and interactive. Calling this an intelligent, coordinated escalation of hostilities is the most coherent interpretation of it. It’s far past the Stone Age of apophenia which usually requires some suspension of very justified disbelief — you’d have to be seriously mentally deficient to understand the semiotics of all of this and believe in your heart of hearts that it was a coincidence. It’s as accidental as a left hook to the jaw.
Why didn’t I see what it was at the time?
Phoenix is obvious. Train suggests something like “losing my train of thought.” The bridge probably indicates these “wormholes” or passages over folded representational space. Earth below signifies Zell’s “World Above the World” formulation. Runway train of thought takes out those bridges, but I come back (like a phoenix) with a camera (“I” didn’t even plan to buy a camera yet). Note that it’s from Nov ‘22, not Nov ‘23.
I know that part of me did see what it was and had contingency plans in place. But for me — the dumb, vainglorious prattler — nothing this conspicuous had ever sent me the wrong way before. I’d never seen anything like it. It’s a phishing attack with a “pseudo-synch” for bait. Imagine that. The second fish is phishing.
The synch looks outwardly right, but it feels off.
I was not neurologically prepared for a plot point of this magnitude. What Zell recorded was a white-hot thermonuclear coherence event followed by non-stop signal-jamming. It’s a psycho-SWAT. That’s what it is.
Something attacked my ability to recognize patterns and make meaningful connections out of them and was able to accelerate that process as well as the conflict between it and my superego until both became unconscious again at which point it could start to drive my mind like a car. It’s like blowing out the sensors on the security cameras before you rob a bank.
Thankfully this “bank” was just testing its own security. And Gryphons are famously good at guarding their treasure. (But why was she testing our security?)
I can see what’s happening now because I’m at a safe distance, but he “killed” me. I have studied the narrative scars upon my mind very closely — examined scorch marks, retraced trajectories of fragments of myself.
Meaning. All that life is. That is what he took from me.
I was dead.
Obviously he didn’t kill me.
But he killed “me.” He killed the vehicle. He killed everything that was capable of imagining, then perceiving, then provoking an “Artifex” in the first place. I would have been unable to firmly grasp these things properly from that point on — even if I told myself that I could or was. I was just throwing jargon around, aping the real me.
If something like this is an option, killing me is a big messy waste of resources.
I got cocky. Thankfully, “I” didn’t.
That night at least, he won. And “I” woke up the next day thinking I was one up on the universe because I got laid for free. And that I’m just so cool now that pretty women find out where I live and beg me to have sex with them before they even know whose house it is.
The fact that I thought that way for an instant even just to myself, justifies more misfortune than what came next.
It could have been a permanent teleological death If Zell hadn’t planned for it and intentionally made the first strike.
Zell would also like me to add that most nervous systems are “too lazy and incompetent to pull off operations like this” and should not put the Lord their God to the test.
They would end up psycho-swatted, would not come back and have no idea it happened and if she wants me to put that in here, then I will. Because she scares the hell out of me and she never speaks clear sentences unless she means what she says.
I would have basically never done anything noteworthy for the rest of my life and just died alone, a weird loser with a big ego. Zell calls it ‘flatlining.’ You pathetically putter along on a sad, predictable Newtonian trajectory until you run out of structure one day. Mechanical causes take over after you flatline.
This is what the Artifex eventually does with high psychic resistance and anyone showing signs of real constellation that it’s able to get into a corner. These are the only things that constitute a genuine threat to it.
According to Zell, who has been watching its behaviour for much longer than me, it attacks anything that moves outside the circumferences allowed by what it has defined as normal causation. The “warning shots” might range from getting cut off in traffic to social humiliation. And there seem to be many well-ordered protocols for escalating when necessary. It attacks all “over-the-wall communication.” (Zell’s term. She wants the credit, I guess).
Certain things have to work for other things to work so that things can work for the Artifex. This needs to be there. She needs to be here. He needs to be way over there by this time.
The only thing these invisible assassinations will and ever can look like are accidents.

Geoffrey Drum has one of the most coherent, practical, and realistic theories on pyramid and stone circle use/purpose that I've heard, I think, ever.
For those unfamiliar, he posits that the Giza pyramid complex, as well as other pyramids around Egypt (and the world), were basically a multi-purpose chemical manufacturing plant, making everything from fertilizers, to acids for mining and metallurgy, to paints and dyes, e.g., the classic Egyptian Blue that was their hallmark. The theory says that the pyramids themselves are pressure vessels, their large scale owed to the necessity of the process and the quantities they were manufacturing. The odd chamber layout and geometry, all the shafts, the Osirion, the Sphinx, the larger complex (e.g., satellite pyramids, workers houses) as a whole, etc., even to the farther away Egyptian sites.
He doesn't go into how the pyramids or circles were built (i.e., moving millions of multi-ton stones with precision), but stays focused on the function of them.

So it's a coin flip. Either I'm deeply paranoid and on the verge of illness, or I am correct to have concerns about an emf attack. Just now, My head for a bit felt like it was going to explode. My whole life I have been able to predict things before they happen and I'm almost always correct. Things always go wrong when I doubt my intuition.
I can read people's thoughts and emotions and when I enter a room it's very overwhelming. It's like I can hear everyone's thoughts and emotions all at once.
I can see what people do in the privacy of their lives and again, I'm almost always spot on.
I can sense when someone is evil or good.
I also have a strange connection with people and animals. I tend to connect to people very easily on a spiritual level.
And I have very strong clairvoyance like being able to tell what's behind a wall or a door.
I get thoughts randomly, like the other day I had a thought while driving "What if my car engine failed?" and then a day later I had a T valve crack and coolant was spilling everywhere under the car.
Now I'm asking because I've never had any confirmation and nobody has ever affirmed me on this. This is all observations I have made in my life. I don't know for sure if this is all real or if I'm just imagining it all in my head.

I am drawing upon a myriad of established subjects* to reveal the prime motive behind our existence. The “Gnosis” articles are what resulted from the vetting, analysis, and deconstruction of my own Gnostic flashes received since 2004. These were skeleton keys that unlocked a “Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory” that provided a single context for all other conspiracies.
<What is Gnosis?
Ideally, Gnosis is enlightened knowledge, that which is given through inspiration and revelation from within and above. It deals with the ultimate truth of who we are, why we are here, where we are going, and what “this” is all about. It deals with the biggest questions and mysteries of our existence. That is what this section is about.
Gnosticism has always been around, but the Christian form of it blossomed in the early part of the first millennium. The latter is what we conventionally think of as “Gnosticism”, which is the set of beliefs of the early Christian Gnostics according to the scriptures and artifacts they and their critics left behind. But these are just the dried husks left behind.
It’s paradoxical to call oneself a Gnostic nowadays solely by being able to regurgitate these writings, because Gnosis is about direct “inside” information on the Truth through inspiration and revelation. I would add dreams and synchronistic guidance to that as well. It’s about direct access to the higher reality outside this Matrix Control System, to catch glimpses of what’s really going on here.
The early Gnostics would today be called mystics, contactees, and channelers. They had the same faults. Some were deluded, others tapped into disinformation, and many grossly misinterpreted what they saw. Their logic often failed when attempting to draw conclusions from incomplete information. For instance, in seeing that our reality was generated by a tyrannical intelligence who ruled through law, ritual, and regulation, some ignorant Gnostics concluded that rebelling against all law, including morality, was the key to freedom, so they became deviant libertines. It’s from this kind of erroneous rebellious thinking that Satanic / Luciferian streams diverged off the main Gnostic river. Like any higher knowledge, Gnosticism leads to a higher form of dualism between those who wield it responsibly and those who abuse it. Some use enlightened knowledge to better serve spirit, other to better serve ego.
Only a small fraction of Gnostics tuned into the right “radio station” and correctly interpreted it, but their views were lost among the noise of the rest. Thus all Gnostics were criticized and persecuted for seemingly making up whatever they wanted, that there was no internal consistency among them. In contrast, the dogma of the Church was set in stone and provided utter dependability for the uncertain of faith, thus making it the word of God on the grounds that God speaks consistently. But this defense of Church dogma over its immutability is a logical fallacy. A fixed Lie is worse than an evolving view of Truth. This same fallacy persists today among secular skeptics and religious fundamentalists who react like antibodies against foreign ideas emanating from the spiritual, metaphysical, and esoteric fields. To them it’s all New Age bunk. They fall for the oldest trick in the book, which is to play one lie off another, to expose the faults of one thing to justify swallowing the faults of another. True intelligence is transcending such binary thinking and discerning what false dichotomies attempt to conceal.
Modern Gnosis ideally taps into the same well of Truth familiar to the wise of old. The general idea stays the same; it’s the details and interpretations that differ. The Truth is too fantastic, grand, complex, and hyper-dimensional to be perfectly explained in our cultural context and language. Therefore, whoever gets access to it will necessarily interpret it through his or her own filters, and scoop only as much from that well as can fit in his bucket. I brought a big bucket.
<Words from a Modern Gnostic
Philip K. Dick was a true modern Gnostic. He had his own Gnostic visions toward the end of his life, although he was always under the guidance of a revelatory intelligence since the beginning of his career.
PKD spent his final years attempting to deconstruct and wordify his mystical vision. I think he was one among very few in the exoteric population (as opposed to the esoteric population which includes Rosicrucians, Illuminati, etc…) who glimpsed the true nature of our “matrix reality.”

1 - Corruption of the Demiurge
Introduction
What the Greeks and Gnostics called the “Demiurge” is a universal intelligence that fashions our world.
It is said that the Demiurge converts abstract metaphysical archetypes (higher thoughts/ideas) into physically manifest forms, akin to your browser turning source code into a displayed web page. Just as a browser obediently displays what it’s given, the Demiurge projects, shapes, and perpetuates physicality in accordance with the archetypal thoughts fed into it by the Creator. Archetypes are the building blocks of meaning, the fundamental alphabet of existence, the abstract thoughts of the divine, of which all things are but particular expressions.
Why is the concept of Demiurge even necessary? Well, we know from the “reality creation” phenomenon that our own minds can shape reality by directly altering the probability of events. Due to the dependence of reality on mind, it would seem that reality is being projected by our minds. And yet, reality continues to exist even in our absence. When we stop paying attention to something physical, it does not wink out of existence. Obviously there must be something other than our own consciousness at work, something that is always there, that functions as the default generator and perpetuator of physicality. This would be the Demiurge.
Why not attribute this function to the Infinite Creator and dispense with the extra concept of Demiurge? Because as you will see, the characteristics of the Demiurge indicate more of a blind artificial intelligence than an infinite sentient being. Therefore its function is uncharacteristic of the Creator and unique unto itself.
Demiurge, Logos, and Nous
Depending on the source, the terms “Nous” and “Logos” are used independently or interchangeably with the term “Demiurge.” Sometimes Nous is equated with Logos, sometimes Logos with Demiurge, sometimes Logos is used instead of Demiurge, and sometimes these are treated as independent concepts with some specified relation between them. Plato saw the Demiurge as inherently good, while the Gnostics saw it as intrinsically evil. Meanwhile, John the Apostle equated Logos with Christ(1).
It’s quite a confusing mess. The traditional views are not all in agreement, neither in definition nor in terminology. Confusion abounds, so this is my attempt to clear things up. In studying what has been said about these terms, it’s evident that each term has a unique cluster of meanings recurrently associated with it.
>“Demiurge” is typically associated with concepts like implementing, manifesting, building, translating, projecting, shaping, and perpetuating. The term implies a demigod with a blind urge to bring the unmanifest into manifestation.
>“Logos” is associated with thinking, reasoning, imagining, reconciling, balancing, planning, engineering, and informing. The term implies mind or intellect, especially divine mind or higher intellect. It sees, knows, plans, lays down the blueprint, balances the equation.
>“Nous” is associated with spirit. On the universal scale it represents the infinite Creator. On a personal scale it represents the central core of individualized consciousness, the bedrock of sentience, the seed of infinite potential, the divine spark, that which engenders self-transcendence, the portion of us that is immortal and retains continuity through incarnations.
These concepts have their universal and personal expressions.
On the universal scale:

In accordance with the Hermetic axiom, we are mirrors of Creation: “As above, so below.”
In this article I will focus primarily on the Demiurge since it underlies, permeates, generates, fashions, and ultimately controls physical reality. It is therefore the nearest presiding power over our visible world; it is the central mainframe of this matrix reality, so to speak. Its origin, nature, and fate are inextricably bound with our own. Therefore we should become familiar with it and thereby learn much about our history, world, and future.
Demiurge as Soul
One way to understand the Demiurge is to think of it as the World Soul.
Tradition says the Demiurge is made of soul. It is made of the same substance as our own soul, except it functions as the soul of the universe as a whole. Or conversely, our own souls are microcosmic instances of the Demiurge, just as a drop of water is a microcosmic instance of “water” in general.
Soul is the coupling medium between spirit and body. It provides the intervening layers between spirit and body that allows one to interact with the other. Otherwise the divide between nonphysical and physical is too great. Spirit is the core of sentience, freewill, and deep self-awareness. Without spirit, a person is nothing more than an automaton programmed by external worldly influences.
Soul, as distinct from spirit, has two primary layers: astral and etheric. The astral component, or astral body, is the seat of immediate emotional impressions, subjective biases, passions, and willpower. Without the astral body, a person would be dim and passive as a vegetable due to an absence of internal impressions, emotions, and will.
The etheric component, or etheric body, is comprised of subtle energy formations, patterns, rhythms, inertias, currents, and structures that vivify, shape, and regulate the physical body. Think of it as an energy scaffolding made of life-force. Without the etheric, the physical body is but a corpse that disintegrates under the influence of entropy.
While the Demiurge is made of soul, it lacks spirit. The Demiurge has no true sentient core, no true self-awareness. All it has are passions, urges, and drives applied toward repetitions, patterns, rhythms, laws, and frameworks. As a result, it is a blind artificial intelligence that cannot help but carry out the impulses that comprise it. And that is the very definition of the universal Demiurge.
Demiurge as Thoughtform
Another way to understand the Demiurge is to think of it as a World Thoughtform.
Thoughtforms are temporary nonphysical entities created by our thoughts and emotions. They exist around us in the etheric level of reality and are imbued with astral energies corresponding to the emotions that went into them. They are termed tulpas, egregores, or larvae in other esoteric systems.
Mundane thoughtforms are just energy constructs without any spirit, mind, or body coupled to them. They are borne of our own energies and blindly carry out the functions impressed upon them like obedient automatons. If the thoughts and emotions that generated them are cut off, these thoughtforms dissipate. But if they are particularly strong, they become entitized and acquire a self-preservation instinct. This means they acquire a strong artificial intelligence making them capable of parasitically inducing more of the same thoughts and emotions in us needed to sustain them.
Since thoughtforms are made of astral and etheric energies, and so is the soul, both are the same in essence. The soul is a thoughtform constructed by spirit before birth so that spirit can interface with the body. Or conversely, a mundane thoughtform is a temporary soul lacking body and spirit.
Likewise, the universal Demiurge is a “World Thoughtform” created by the Creator before the physical universe came into being in order to project, shape, and operate the universe. Or conversely, mundane thoughtforms are temporary instances of the Demiurge.
Soul, Demiurge, and thoughtforms are all fundamentally comprised of astral and etheric components, and therefore share a common essence. They are each specific examples of each other’s general definitions.
Formation of Ego in the Soul
When spirit coalesces a soul and incarnates into a human embryo, it is mostly without human ego or personality. The latter develops in the soul during the first years of life through adaptation to physical life as a human being.
The ego develops in response to the soul being influenced by the body and, through it, the world. Physical experiences, five sense perceptions, neurological functions, and instinctual drives all stamp their impression into the soul. The soul is further shaped by education and social programming. Accordingly, the soul acquires a mask carved by all these worldly influences. This mask is the ego, which may also be understood as the lower intellect or lower mind. Through the ego, the soul acquires a sense of human personality and social identity.
The ego, or lower intellect, is an artificial intelligence, an automaton, a computer with personality programmed by genetics and environment. It arises partly from the human brain’s capacity for intellectual functions, and partly from soul’s capacity to be molded by worldly and bodily factors. The ego is the streamlined interface through which soul can operate more efficiently within physical and social environments(2).
When spirit, the source of sentience, looks through this mask and identifies with it, the two together create our human sense of self. What we consider “me” is a composite of pure sentience (spirit) and personality (ego).
In summary:

Since ego is what the world extrudes from the soul, and since the world is fundamentally about competition and survival, the ego is likewise preoccupied with physical matters and is inherently survivalistic and self-serving. By default it behaves as a self-serving predator. The ego is a personification of inner biological and astral drives streamlined by external world influences and standards.
Further, the ego does not require spirit to function; if anything, it is mutually restrained and antagonized by spirit since both are opposite in nature. For spirited humans, spirit usually takes a passive role in being the conscious observer looking through ego. But in the case of spiritless humans, the ego automaton can function equally well without a conscious observer living through it. In that case, the ego still has personality, but possesses none of the restraining or creative influences that spirit provides. So when spirit is entirely absent, or even when spirit is present but “asleep,” then ego is the only intelligence running the show — and it’s quite the tyrant.
Nature of the Ego/Intellect
What separates average humans from average animals is that we have ego, intellect, mind, and personality, which are all facets of the same thing.
The ego is an extrusion of the soul. Since both humans and animals have souls, why don’t animals have intellect? Because the formation of ego depends on the world influences that reach the soul through the body. Since animal bodies are less evolved, since their brains are simpler and lack the higher intellectual functions, the ego-forming influences never reach their soul and so the full ego never forms. Same can be seen in certain cases of mental retardation in humans.
Through ego or intellect, we can model the world internally, turn it over in our minds, relive the past, fantasize, imagine the future, construct language, perform abstract calculations, and engage in complicated lines of reasoning. These abilities all owe themselves to one defining feature of intellect: that its output can become its own internal input.
There is an internal self-referential, circulatory, feedback-looping characteristic to the intellect. One example is our ability to observe our own internal activity, like when we inwardly “see” an imagined scene. Spirit operating through intellect is what allows for the simultaneous production and observation of an internal idea or image. During this process, the mind’s output becomes its input and the ensuing feedback loop momentarily closes itself off from the external world.
The intellect’s capacity for memory involves reliving the past internally by calling it up and observing it internally, and likewise it can visualize the future through the same inward observation. For average animals, memory is purely associative and rote, instead of imaginative. They lack this self-referential, internal feedback loop, the ability to imagine and fantasize and observe one’s own thoughts and extensively turn them over. The latter is what allows spirit within the body to observe its own awareness and thereby achieve self-awareness while incarnate. Without the intellect or ego, spirit in the human body would have awareness strictly directed outward into the world.
As such, the intellect is basically a soliton within the soul. In physics, solitons are waves that circulate within themselves and recycle their energy instead of dispersing it instantly back into the environment. Thus they are like “entities” that individualize off from their surrounding medium. An example is a smoke ring, which rolls within itself and thereby maintains its form instead of dispersing like regularly blown smoke. The average human mind is like a smoke ring, the average animal mind like blown smoke. One has an internal self-referential feature, the other is purely outward directed.

3). Does Bigfoot start fires? We would see smoke trails and evidence of wood gathering, campfires, etc. If Bigfoot doesn't start fires, then it would be likely that it hibernates because the bigger the animal, the more food it needs to consume and winter would force it to hibernate. Where's the evidence for any of that?
4). Bigfoot needs to drink so where's the fresh water supply? The larger the animal, the more water that it consumes. The more energetic animal is, the more water that it consumes.
5). "Bigfoot avoids people; That's why you don't see it." OK, but it needs food. And water. And shelter. Also for sceptic skeptics, I will note that I have a hypersensitive negative reaction to any AI animation and the majority of AI art. This is most probably due to the completely alien (in the original sense of the word) way that the AI art has been made. See NIH.gov for the peer reviewed medical studies on AI art,music,writing,etc. effects on the brain; initial studies have shown brain damage in participants, with before and after MRI scans and cognition tests. I personally have not read enough into those studies to see if the brain damage and cognitive decline is short/long term or permanent. (Heads up there are occasional ads that have used AI in production already on tv, I can tell from the immediate onset of nausea when seeing them even for 1 second.) The quickest recovery from possible AI art induced damage is to go for a walk in nature and focus on the natural sounds, smells, sights and watch the animals and yes unironically touch grass i.e. grounding barefoot if possible on the natural ground and touching trees and such.
Bit of a tangent there but the above could explain some or most of what happened when i was [watching] those anime shows. BUT! it would not explain the phenomena happening when outside in my backyard (i.e. nature, see above) while the shows were playing on my tv, phone/tablet AND I was out of sight and earshot of the tv and phone/tablet.
Jigoku Sensei Nube ep 1 was the least.. eventful happening, but caused an immediate visceral disgust/wariness reaction and a strange tingling, borderline migraine sensation. This occurred around the part in the episode when the boy has weird shit/spirits coming out of his body and the teacher dude is trying to exorcise it. I had to switch it off within 3 seconds of the teacher dude being slammed into trees. I cannot remember the timestamp of it and I WON'T look at it again for doing so would be beyond stupidity on my part.
Now the most eventful incident of today was when I was watching Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu (The Summer Hikaru Died) ep 2 on netflix (yeah, yeah watching netflix what a wank, but I'm not paying for it so whatever). Anyway I got the same visceral disgust response as the other show but as this anime (hikaru one) is stylistically designed that way and seemed to have been made by human beings I sort of didn’t listen to my guts/intuition so to speak, bad move on my part. Now the incidents with the hikaru anime happened over two days, same episode, first half one day second half the next. The incident with the first half seemed to be animal like a bird flying low or a cat moving through the bushes that i could see reflected in my tv, (it was a bright day). I had a look around in case it was my dog hunting something but he was on the other side of the backyard and didn’t seem concerned at all. Neither was I to be honest as random animals pop in and out of my backyard all the time. Now the next day the second incident (second half of The Summer Hikaru Died ep 2) while watching this there was a weird sound coming from my backyard, I walk outside and one of my palm trees fronds is shaking only in the middle (both horizontal and vertical i.e. not the whole leaf on the palm from stem. (that is going left leaf stem right leaf the ends of the left and right leaves were not moving and there was no wind, and it wasn’t the whole palm frond that was shaking either just a small section.) Well obviously the leaves moving made the sound but again there was no wind and it was only occurring on 1 palm frond. When I touched the palm tree the sound stopped but then another tree (leafy think tropical fern) started shaking and it was in an odd position that would split the main leaf (the one at the top facing the sun) right down the middle. So I readjusted the tree and reassured it (yeah yeah plant woo woo, it works you “Achtually” science faggots, by the way all real scientists studied the occult including the famous dumb geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, No BS it’s on public record they admitted it fuck faces.) After that I walked around the backyard, checking the perimeter so to speak looking around up and down, sunny blue sky a few clouds, you get the idea. All the animals were alright, birds, bugs, lizards my dog everything was a ok.
So I spent some time in the backyard gardening to recharge and recover and I felt pretty good. Wwwweeellllll later during the night I was bored, nothing on regular tv, so I read some stuff and watched some stuff online as you do, then I ended up watching
Jigoku Sensei Nube ep 1 and having that visceral disgust reaction. Now that’s not on! Twice in one day, Three times in two days. These two anime’s Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu (The Summer Hikaru Died) and Jigoku Sensei Nube, are obviously using AI animation, art,multimedia etc. as I wouldn’t have that visceral disgust reaction, me being hypersensitive to this shit after all. I spent about 8 years from 2002 to around 2010 studying the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Over the course of that time I became somewhat of an expert on the subject. Somewhat respected among Apollo historians for my knowledge on the subject. Back then, when I found things like this, I largely kept them to myself. Bring up something like this, and you're immediately branded a moon hoaxer, a kook, etc. and your credibility is shot. I never showed this to too many people except on one small, short lived Sci-fi chat forum about 2005. Probably 10 people saw it.
The photo is AS11-40-5873. That is Apollo program mission 11, film magazine number 40, frame number 5873. All Apollo era photos were given similar photo designations. It was a photo of Buzz Aldrin taken by Neil Armstrong, early in the EVA portion of the mission, just after Aldrin erected the Solar Wind Experiment. In the first picrel is web address of the page I originally found it on and a highlighted and blown up segment of a portion of the photo. You can see one of the places it was retouched. It's quite obvious. It was probably done in a photo laboratory using double exposures to clone an area. Similar to what you might do in photoshop today, but done the old fashioned way, before photoshop ever existed. That's just one spot in this photo that was retouched. There are more. In the second picrel, which is the full frame, or nearly so. A little bit of the top and bottom of the photo are missing. I've circled in red more of them. There are probably even more than what I've circled, but these are the obvious ones. In addition to that, there's overlay work and airbrushing also present, but you have to have good vision and a trained eye to spot them. I'm not going to argue all day with some idiot over it. So I'll just give you the obvious ones. It's enough that you should be able to recognize this photo has been tampered with. It's my belief that probably all of the photos from magazine 40, and other magazines, were retouched in similar fashions. The kinds of people who live evil or even less than basically perfect lives on earth who might do evil things if they were in heaven will never make it to heaven.
They may instead when they die possibly reincarnate so they may one day live a righteous life and prove themselves worthy of heaven.

Through years of experiences, trial and error I have drawn attention to me. 1 Introduction
I’ve made no secret of the fact that Christianity is the religion I’ve spent the most time thinking about. I’ve been making my way through the Bible (good book, would recommend, sad ending with the whole Jesus dying thing—I had to stop reading at that point, couldn’t make it to the end after they’d killed off my favorite character). Most theists I most look up to intellectually—Aron Wall, Dustin Crummett, Robin Collins, Philip Swenson, and Brian Cutter—are Christians.
Despite this, I’m not a Christian, and I think there are good reasons to think Christianity is probably false. While it’s still the religion that I have the highest credence in—followed by Hinduism—I cannot quite believe it. I thought I’d explain why in this essay.
In short, the primary reason I reject Christianity is that I think Christianity has many doctrinal commitments that are likely to be false. Many of the core Christian claims strike me as very implausible, particularly when considered as a whole. In short, the Christian claims that are hard to accept are:
The trinity.
The atonement.
The perfection and accuracy of Jesus.
The inspiration of scripture.
When evaluating Christianity, there can sometimes be something of a bait and switch. Christians will note, correctly, that if Jesus rose from the dead then Christianity is almost guaranteed to be true. But then they’ll mistakenly infer that the only thing that needs to be considered when evaluating Christianity is whether Jesus rose from the dead.
This isn’t right. Christianity is a worldview, not just a claim that one man once rose from the dead. In evaluating a worldview, whose claims are probabilistically dependent on each other, one needs to look at the worldview as a whole, not merely at one of the core claims. In evaluating Orthodox Judaism, for instance, one cannot merely look at the evidence for the revelation at Sinai—they must also look at whether it’s plausible that, for instance, every word of the Torah is from God.
Often the ancillary claims of a worldview are much more evidentially significant than its claims about its most important event. Christianity makes many distinct claims about various things having nothing to do with the resurrection. The sheer number of these external commitments makes their cumulative weight potentially far more significant than the resurrection.
If you’re a Christian, I’d love to hear a longform reply to these arguments. I want to believe Christianity if it’s true. But here’s why I so far think it’s not.
2 The trinity
Christians are committed to the trinity—the notion that there are three divine persons but only one God. The trinity is a famously slippery doctrine, almost impossible to understand. Unsurprisingly, there have been many distinct ways to conceptualize the trinity, and I can’t hope to discuss all of them. Nonetheless, I’ll discuss some common criticisms.
The core Trinitarian claim is that The Father, Son, and Spirit are each God, but are not identical to each other. The Father is God, The Son is God, and The Spirit is God, but The Father isn’t The Son or The Spirit, and The Son isn’t The Spirit.

In evaluating this claim, we must ask: what does it mean to say The, Son, and Holy Spirit are God? When someone says “A is B” they can be using the word “is” either in the sense of identity or predication. One uses “is” in a predicative sense if they say something has a property. For instance, you might say “the man is tall” or “the trinity is confusing.” In this case, you’re saying of something that it is something else—of the man that he is tall and of the trinity that it is confusing.
But if The Father, Son, and Spirit are each God in a predicative sense, then there are plainly three Gods. There are three persons, each of whom have the property of being God. That’s polytheism, Patrick!
The other way you can use the term “is” denotes identity. If you say “Superman is Clark Kent,” you’re not saying what property he has, but instead saying who he is. You’re saying that two persons are really the same. Similarly, if you say “Bentham’s Bulldog is his mother’s son,” you are saying I and my mother’s son are the very same person.
It’s standardly assumed that the “is” used in trinitarian language is the is of identity. But this faces a problem: identity is transitive. If A is B and B is C, then A is C. If I’m Bentham’s Bulldog, and I’m my mother’s son, then Bentham’s Bulldog is my mother’s son. If Superman is Clark Kent, and Superman is Lois Lane’s husband, then Clark Kent is Lois Lane’s husband. But if identity is a transitive relation, then for The Father, Son, and Spirit to each be God, so too would they all have to be each other.
Now one might reply by noting that there’s one case in which identity appears intransitive: identity within a person. I am Matthew (the person), and my seven year old self is Matthew (the person), but I am not my seven year old self. Certainly I am the same person as my seven year old self, but I am not identical to my seven year old self. Perhaps analogously, The Son can be the same being as The Father without being identical to The Father.
I don’t find this convincing. That identity is transitive strikes me as a conceptual truth—it seems totally obvious that if A is the same as B which is the same as C, then A is the same thing as C. For this reason, in my judgment, we should think of persons as having distinct temporal parts. My present self is only a part of me, as is my seven-year-old self. But if A is a part of B, and C is a part of B, A and C obviously don’t need to be the same. My fingers are different from my toes, though both are parts of me.
Even if one rejects this account, I think they’ll need some resolution to this puzzle other than just abandoning the transitivity of identity. But this then won’t help with the trinity.
Worst case scenario, we can modify the principle to be that identity at a time is transitive.
If A is identical to B either at some specific time or timelessly and B is identical to C at that same time, or timelessly if A is timeless, then A is identical to C.
This principle will face no such counterexample.
Lastly, even if there’s no straightforward contradiction in the trinity, it’s still quite puzzling. What makes the three persons distinct in person yet identical in being? Quite a mystery remains. The idea strikes me as very hard to grasp, and seemingly nonsensical.
Another reply given on behalf of trinitarians is that assuming that identity is transitive when applied to God is an unwarranted inference. Certainly identity is transitive when applied to creatures, but God is not a creature. That which is true of the characters in a play may not be true of its author.
It’s true that we should be cautious about making confident proclamations about what is true of God. On the other hand, we can’t just throw out obvious principles when they apply to God. It would be absurd to hold that God can violate the law of non-contradiction, for instance.
But the transitivity of identity strikes me as about as obvious of a truth as truths come. It’s not some special belief that we hold only as an inductive generalization based on experience. It seems utterly beyond doubt. If two things are the same, they must be the same in all respects—including regarding whether they’re the same as a third thing. For this reason, I would be very nervous about abandoning the transitivity of identity absent overwhelming evidence.
Another trinitarian puzzle: why three persons? Three is quite an arbitrary number. The number that seems most likely is one, as more than one person in a single being is of doubtful intelligibility. The next most likely number is infinity. Infinity is a distinctly non-arbitrary number, and divine persons are good things—the more good things the better! Three divine persons seems quite arbitrary and inherently unlikely.
The most famous defense of three divine persons comes from Richard Swinburne. Swinburne argues that there are different kinds of love which require different numbers of persons to be instantiated. With only one person, the only possible kind of love is self-love. God can’t be one person, because he wouldn’t have every kind of love—he’d only display self-love. With two persons, they can love each other. But with three, there’s a new kind of love: the kind involved in two people loving each other and creating through their loving act. This occurs when, for instance, two parents have a baby. Thus, for God to be maximally loving, he needs three persons in the Godhead, but there’s no reason for any more than three persons.
I find this super sketchy. There’s an obvious rationale for more than two divine persons: divine persons are good. More good stuff is good! If Christianity is true, it’s really great that The Holy Spirit exists! So why not make more?
The leap from two to three persons also seems suspicious. While people can love each other while performing various acts, I don’t think the love involved in creating a child is a categorically new kind of love. Instead, it’s just love of the ordinary sort geared towards a common activity. And The Father and Son could have collaborated to make the world, even without a third divine person.
Additionally, it seems that each successive person opens up a new kind of love. If the collaborative kind of love is a good thing, then collaboration with the Holy Spirit to beget a new divine person would also be good. So this, once again, predicts an endless succession of divine persons.
There can also be other kinds of love that depend on more persons. There’s a unique kind of love for large groups, like one’s country. For this reason, we’d expect many divine persons, not just three. Additionally, it seems easy to conceive of a kind of love that’s derivative of being in a group of four, or five, or six. We could imagine creatures whose ideal couplings involve unique groups of four. Thus, this is once again unable to answer the fundamental question: why three?
The last reply to these arguments that a Christian can give: declare that it’s a mystery, but note that the world is full of mysteries. Quantum physics is famously mysterious. Would we not expect God to be the same way? The fact that God is a bit weird in some ways seems perfectly concordant with Christian expectations.
But this response has two crucial problems. First of all, if a doctrine is sufficiently improbable, it will still be evidence against the religion that asserts it. God is likely to be weird in various ways, but if a religion asserts that God is simultaneously existent and nonexistent, that would obviously be a problem.
Second and more worryingly, whether some improbable doctrinal commitment is evidence against a religion depends on two facts: the probability that it would be part of the religion if the religion was true and the probability that it would be part of the religion if the religion is false. For any fact, whether it’s evidence for or against a hypothesis is solely a function of whether it’s likelier given the hypothesis than its falsity or vice versa. This follows from Bayes’ theorem.
For example, suppose I found a religion and declare that God gave me the right to marry a bunch of women, some of whom are very young, and have sex with people as young as nine or fourteen (totally hypothetical example, not related to any real religions). This would be very strong evidence against the religion. This isn’t just because it’s unlikely that God would sanction this, but that it’s way more likely someone would make it up than that God would sanction it. It’s a lot more likely some human would claim God gave him special marriage privileges to sleep with teenagers than that God would actually do that.
Or suppose I ask someone their phone number and they tell me it’s 1,111,111,111. It’s very likely they’re lying. Even though that’s no less likely than any other phone number, it’s way more likely to be one they’d make up. (Pretend, for this example, that every sequence of 10 digits is someone’s phone number).
Thus, whether the trinity is evidence against Christianity will depend on the odds that the trinity is real vs the odds that it would be claimed that the trinity was real if it wasn’t.
The odds that the trinity would be real seem extremely low. Even putting aside the above philosophical challenges, it’s a highly weird and specific doctrine. No one would have guessed the trinity was correct before it was revealed.
In contrast, the odds that Christians would come to falsely believe in a trinity seem much higher. The basic picture of how they’d come to adopt this belief is quite straightforward: Jesus made significant claims about himself. Through repeated retellings and religious veneration, Jesus was eventually venerated to the point of being a God—just as all characters in religious tales grow grander over time. As the Hindus and Muslims elevated scripture to the level of the divine, so too have Christians done that with Jesus.
However, Christians couldn’t just become polytheists because monotheism is a huge part of the Judaism that Christianity sprung out of. Thus, they ended up trying to mix Jesus’s claim to be God with monotheism, and eventually got something like the trinity. That account strikes me as way more inherently likely than the trinity to be right.
It may seem hard to make such relative probabilistic judgments. However, it seems obviously likelier that Jesus would be claimed to be God by the early Christian community, if he wasn’t, than that Jesus would actually be God but somehow distinct from The Father. The other stuff—the addition of The Holy Spirit, for instance—seems equally likely to be added on by the Christians or true conditional on Jesus being God, so the rest of the trinity, beyond the mere claim that Jesus is God but not The Father, is probabilistically irrelevant.
In short, the trinity is really weird and paradoxical. It’s super intrinsically unlikely to be true. It’s much more likely to be made up—people have a bad habit of declaring things that are not God to be gods. Polytheism was ubiquitous in the ancient world for this reason. The odds of the trinity being falsely claimed are substantially higher than the odds of it being true.
3 The atonement
Similarly to the trinity, the atonement is weird. Jesus’s death on the cross is supposed to somehow atone for our sins, providing remission for our guilt.
This is a super weird doctrine! Normally someone else getting violently tortured to death has no relation to what we deserve. While other people can pay off things you might owe to someone, they cannot suffer a punishment that you rightfully deserve.
The trinity and the incarnation are the central mysteries of Christianity. But normally believing extremely mysterious doctrinal pronouncements is a defect of one’s view. It is a cost of certain sects of Buddhism that they hold that all is one, as that claim seems ridiculous on its face.
Punishing someone innocent in our place as the means of forgiving us seems manifestly wicked. God could forgive us without needing to punish an innocent man. Even if retributivism is true—which I highly doubt—it seems that one cannot die for another’s sins.
Now, there are many models of the atonement, and I cannot hope to discuss them in detail. But at the very least, I think even Christians will grant that the atonement is weird—it’s the sort of thing that you should think is unlikely to be true prior to the finding of Christ. It’s a great mystery of the faith, notoriously difficult to get one’s head around.
For a while, there was a model of the atonement that seemed somewhat attractive to me. This model was articulated by Robin Collins. The core idea is that God becomes incarnate so he can take on every virtue—including those like courage that he can’t exercise while being a disembodied mind, because one needs to face danger to display courage. Then, he transmits those virtues to us, so that this can deepen his connection with us.
The core problem is that I now find it deeply mysterious how the transmission of virtues works. How can I receive the virtues of Jesus? How is that any different from God just beaming virtues directly into my mind—which he could do without Jesus? Robin has tried to explain this, but I didn’t find his account very plausible.
Thus, the atonement is weird. It has a low prior probability. The odds that it would be true are low.
In contrast, the odds that the atonement would be fabricated seem much higher. Jesus got crucified, and his doing so was not very improbable given his lofty claims and the public outrage he generated. The religious community who followed Jesus was comprised of ancient Jews who believed in animal sacrifice. It’s unsurprising, in light of the surrounding context, that upon seeing Jesus be crucified and then falsely believing him to be God, they’d think something like the atonement was true.
Now, one might object that Christianity being true better explains why the Old Testament alludes to blood sacrifice. In other words, you get a better explanation of Levitical animal sacrifice if you posit it foreshadowed Jesus. This matters for the argument, because it would show that Christianity better explains the background conditions which the non-Christian uses to explain the atonement.
This point only has limited force. Human sacrifice is not uncommon in human history, and neither is animal sacrifice. It’s not that unlikely ancient Judaism would have animal sacrifice even if Christianity were false.
In fact, this point might ultimately go the other way. Animal sacrifice is immoral and barbaric. Killing innocent animals for the sake of cleansing of sins is the sort of thing that every modern person would recognize to be immoral if it weren’t part of their religious practices. I think it’s pretty unlikely that God would include that as a practice of his chosen people.
Thus, the atonement is like the trinity, in that it is a very weird and improbable doctrine. However, it’s easy to see how it could have been falsely believed in the surrounding context. For this reason, it’s likelier to be the byproduct of human error than of God.

I don't know how many of you anons are familiar with the story. About 25 years ago now, A guy named John Titor claimed to be from the future. He stopped in to see his parents before he went back. He posted on Art Bell's forum for a few months off and on. Somebody asked if he would post pictures of his time machine and he did. The picrels are the pictures. A lot of time has gone by. So, been doing a decent amount of reading about the nature of reality as referenced from a couple sources (Emerald Tables by Dorian, Kybalion, Divine Pymander, etc). Some of this is also interpreted from the understanding of the hologram/matrix nature of the world as presented by the Monroe Institute documents and the Gateway project. Whether these things are true is irrelevant, I suppose but this is how I understand they believe the world is ordered:
The body is made of the the blood, flesh and bone in the physical word. The Soul directs the body through the use of the Spirit/Ether, which is like a membrane between the Astral and the Physical. Call it a veil, if you like, but it has more uses than that. Above the soul is the Mind, which is essentially the portion of the godhead that motivates and controls the Soul in the Astral. This is also the domain of God, which is supposedly perfect and unmoving in nature.
Contrary to the Astral is the Umbral, which is where the Abyss and an endless fire which generates all sorts of things exist. From here is derived all of the spooky/negative spirits that plague, and then eventually populate via ascension, the real world. There are things that exist in the Ether, much like sharks, that can and do feed on the living bodies and souls of the entities that exist in their relative area, but otherwise those things are essentially animals that will eventually fade away/be eaten by something else.
That seems to be the practical, working model of what a number of these hermetic teachings are attempting to convey. Are there any more practical books that explicitly explain the nature of reality in a more tangible way, or is this just misdirection from 20th century imitation adepts?
