I used to meditate, when I was younger, it can be so good for you, the idea is to compartmentalize and let go, i dont do it anymore but I think I will after seeing the thread

As far as achieving anything along the lines of a monk no, my thing was to focus on the tip of a flame and let go, deep breathing doesn't require as much attention, 10 s in and 10s exhale, 10 times

I tried meditation. I tried drugs. I just can't kill myself. The bible says " in those days people start seeking death and not find it" or maybe it was Quran. I gave up on trying to get to heaven and looking for some opportunity on earth now. Hell i wasted too much time meditating in life, I don't recommend it to anyone

Spent years going though spiritual babble for psyop use but nobody wanted to buy my ideas or time. It was a total waste. Do you know 99% of all spiritual books and videos are just distractions?

What is it they want to distract us from you might wonder. You know?

You weren't looking inside yourself, this isn't new age mumbo jumbo psycho babble, that's the divine truth, peace, serenity and enlightenment can only be found within yourself, of course religion is following someone else who is a self proclaimed prophet, yes it's for weak people, a good leader leads by example, if you can find that archetype in religion the truth is there, typically it involves relinquishing of your selfish desires and "love"

What if the prophets are just a archetype one must fulfill at some part in life (but not remain in delusion) part or spiritual growth ... We all carry the Logos inside

You sound pretty wise to me, i heard a saying once kinda stuck with me, "we are just a thought inside the mind of God"
My philosophy is that, once someone tries to reach for God or proclaim it to be some deity it disappears. Personally I pray for people, no I'm not religious, but if I see struggling or pain, I say a prayer, of course I prayer for myself but I reserve that selfishness for dire situations. 
I try not to give it much thought, but that's the part of relinquishing my situation, I'm just a human, on earth, living in a fucked up system
