the wonderful thing about an e-reader is the e-ink display. it can be used in direct sunlight. normal phone or tablets are annoying to use when the sunshine is strong. they get too warm and they have to outshine the sun for the user to be able to see anything, making them lose battery faster.

the e-ink is just pleasant to look at in daylight and i like that it doesn't have apps on them. just the book. phone or tablet aren't just the book, they are distraction machines who always need something from you, they are always notifying. also the normie phone and normie tablet is a privacy nightmare, just feels bad to carry the spying device around.
