The government's conduct causes the resentment and distrust they claim comes from misinformation. The GOC wants everything their way, everyone to agree, nobody to talk back, and this to go on forever. And now that this is in disfavor they think they can rebrand and pose as patriots or something stupid. The real target audience for "Canada" is a fresh off the boat migrant from subsaharan Africa who will work in a sweatshop for 30 years and vote liberal with no questions. Obviously everyone outside this bloc has no investment in the country.
The Ottawa mode of governance, which is state fabricated consensus and Eu style pseudo democracy, is a total disaster. We are still on the WEF plantation over here
