>Never heard of that, was it that game was related to pierce or something???
In a technical sense, yes. In how you mean it, no. It was a game developed and published by National Alliance (the older parent organization of National Vanguard) which was founded by Pierce. It was released by them the same year he died.

There is always Chocolate Rambo on swfchan. It is an arcade shooter, but still a good game and even based on a true story. I don't actually know how much of the shootout is actually real though

If im not mistaken that game is lost to time. I've searched every internet archive and found nothing.

5 days left until the Summer Sale ends on Steam and I haven't gotten a single thing. Nothing really excites me to the point where I want to buy it. Anyone here take the plunge and bought something in order to make Lord Gaben an even wealthier billionaire?

Bought 3rd year bundle for Insurgency Sandstorm for 11 euros, even hesitated buying that first because i would rather save money for something in real life. But eh, 11 euros is not much, but still.

Since my thread of /pol/ got saged out of existence....

A FRENLY QUEST
You playing as Apu in an RPG style dungeon game fighting vermin and eating tendies

This game has been in development for around 9 months now, all created using gamemaker (because TIME), and there will be a freeware version
>wdym version
Well, what are the chances that I can put this game on a games store like Gog or steam if I dont call the characters what they are?
>not pepe but... apu apujaista
>not troonjak but.... creepy guy
>not le happy merchant but.... untrustworthy bridge gremlin

I am aiming for this game to be finished in around a year, as I've only made one level so far, but with all the structure of the game already made, level creation will go faster (bosses will need time to be programmed for example, unlike normal enemies which are just copies of eachother but with different art for the most part)

Suggestions: What enemies should be added? Areas? ETC!

I'm really confident to get an alpha version out soon, almost hitting the one year mark on this project. Might setup a chatroom for that, idk with which service though. Telegram?
>ai seems borked
Well the enemies don't actually have an ai, they just run on a very simple loop and switch which entirely depends on whether the player is in it's range & line of sight, and sometimes they do unanswerable things like switch to their attacking mode without shooting any projectiles, or just walking through walls despite being hardcoded to bounce of walls. IDK, it happens infrequently so re-writing the enemies is not too high on my list.

Something I would appreciate from frens is title screen art as I mentioned before here >>821
Though, I need to design the title screen layout first before prompting anyone to draw something for me.

Whipped up a quick mockup of what the titlescreen would look like, if any frens would like to make artwork for the background I would appreciate it.

Any boomers out there remember which way the player 1 and 4 joysticks were oriented on these games? For example, if the left-most player pulls the stick away from the screen, does his character move down, or to the right?
Replies: >>881
>>858 (OP)
two weeks late, I am in my mid 20s, but as a child I saw one of these at a roller rink or whatever they are called, and I remember them being oriented to where you should be standing. So pushing the joystick up relative from where you are standing (on the side) would make the character move up.

I think having it be the other way around would be much more disorientating.
Replies: >>886
>>881
Thanks. We have it set up the other way now. I can get used to both layouts but want to have the least confusion if we go to Funspot or something.

It's been ages since I've been to Loverslab (stopped after I stopped playing Skyrim). Anyway, I still had the link saved in my favorites and decided to drop by merely to see that the link still worked. Within a moment of getting there, though, they ad-forced me to some other site which wasn't cool.

So what's the deal with that place? Is it just a malware site now or what? Not planning on returning but would like to know what eventually happened to it.

Gameinformer's new price is going up by 50% higher (29.99/year or 2.99 monthly) and they're offering a """discount""" for early bird subscribers of 19.91 (the old price) for the first year.
Replies: >>862
Does anyone actually want to subscribe to Game Informer? It was cool back in the day but in the past decade it's just been that thing GameStop charged you for without even telling you.

TQ: With Tarkir behind us, what are you brewing and in what format?
Everyone was laughing at blue Turtle, how lame it is, so I decided to make something with it in Pioneer. Packed in all the turtles I could think of that weren't complete shit. Nice synergy with Kappa, if they don't block it, you just ninijtusu, destroy their permanent, and replay the Turtle right away. All while drawing three cards in the process. Simic turtle ramp.

I tried making a reanimator deck, but the flow for it is so fucking boring in current standard. Just dump Atraxa or Valgavoth into your graveyard. I thought it could be cool to use reanimator to play all of those EDH bait cards with tri-colours, but most of them have effects that are so specific that they're effectively a vanilla creature in the deck. Don't get me started on those prototype cards that only trigger when cast too.
>>172 (OP)
Love magic, but because of JoTC will only play closed groups with based bros.

I am still a cuck to FF though so I am going to play draft and prerelease events when it releases, then I'm gone. might buy the official cards with japanese artists from FF set, their art is superior to the non-japs of the set. nothing else though.

other than that I'm only interested in older cards.

I will be going all in on FF set arena and draft IRL though, one last hurrah.

I'm back and they fucked up FF with putting side character cards in the main set, but not putting in multiple main characters with popularity in the set. how the fuck do you put any misc nobody cards in the set while you are missing characters that are in the top 10 of most popular ff characters.

pissed off, they had one fucking job, ONE.

t.limited player who didn't get my favorite character in the main set.

I used to play MtG on Cockatrice a lot years ago. Build and thoroughly play tested like literally 500 decks. Now-a-days I still play proxy decks occasionally IRL. Never relinquishing my (non-existent) currency.

Pic related, my fav card in the game.

Honestly, this is the only sequel to the movie "Tron" that matters to me. Everything else is not canon in my eyes. And the fact that management did everything possible to sabotage the production and it STILL was successful just underscores how awesome it still is to this day. Sad that it never got a true sequel.
