>tfw your little sister dies 'cuz you didn't collect enough money to pay for her surgery in time

Man, for such a cutesy looking game it sure hits hard sometimes.

Legends was ahead of its time, but unfortunately it got bad ((( journalist ))) reviews in the West for being "too colorful."

The controls are kinda wonky too 'cuz Japanese gamers can't handle moving with the left stick while using right stick for camera without getting motion sick.

I have alot of old games, I used to be a soyjak and "collect" this sort of shit. I've recently tried playing a lot of them only to realize that a MAJORITY of them are terrible. I then tell someone, probably online, "hey game X is terrible because it does Y" and all of the nostalgia boomers start lecturing me about how it "inovated le vidya".

Fucking nerds.
Do they enjoy suffering? Isnt vidya supposed to be for downtime?

Exactly, and the very few games that did age well much well deserve it. Im convinced most of the people who enjoy retro games only do so because they havent grown up mentally, so they're stuck in the high of their childhood.

I had an abusive childhood. Wasn't allowed to play vidya growing up.
Now as an adult I'm trying to play all the games I missed out on.

we've come far, AI already helps a lot with various things - am solo game dev, I could already make 2001 ps2 games that had 300+ mil budgets solo with the tools available.

about 5 years out from now if no SHTF I'll be done with a pure kino game.

Any fans of really old video games? This is one of my favorites, the graphics are woefully outdated and you have to boot up a windows 98 box just to play it, but its worth the effort.

As long as its above NES graphics, I dont mind playing it. Actually I emulate some old games on my phone like A link to the past and Paper mario. They're great.

Rocking ZooTycoon1, got some Walking With Beasts mod (yet to try the animals). More hyped tho to move to the second game soon. I always wanted to play these games as a kid, but never got a chance.

This is a DOS fighting game with a killer story and one of the best soundtracks OF ALL TIME. Its owned by EPIC but it is still almost considered abandonware.

They could make a fucking amazing movie off the story of this one.

Anyone played it?

Don't mind me, I am just posting the greatest movie based game ever. I am also posting the greatest book based game(as the game drew extra inspiration from the book even the movie didn't).

Y'all have played this right?

I own the physical of that (not big box, just the case & discs). Haven't played it. Heard nice things about it, though. I think it's on steam. I'll put it on my wishlist.

Don't discount the Riddick game that came out in the early 2000s. Also, Atlantis: Trial by Fire has a special place in my heart only for its outright happy jankiness.

And Pit Droids. I swear, I will own the big box of that game someday. Just you wait...

Yes they are, they killed one of their best games last november.

Pissed we’ll never get Anthem 2.0.

Who cares? They haven't made a game worth playing since Dead Space and Battle for Middle-earth, and they're essentially an all live service company now. Electronics Afterbirth are non-existent for anyone with an above-shoe-size I. Q. / who's not a nigger.

Isonzo moderators on Steam forums told me that i was asking for innaccurate and immersion breaking stuff for the game, that is absolutely false. Beretta M1918 was in the game files since beggining and its now finally implemented in the game along with cosmetics such as Dunand visor and various painted stalhelms and very cool uniforms. This is how you perfectly balance between accuracy and creative liberty, Isonzo is now on par with Battlefield 1.

I know that I should give up hope ever seeing the 1996/7 version of Prey ever leak (no, not the 1995 E3 version which already did). However, this screenshot looked so good back in the day and it still elicits a Reptile Response in my brain.

Post the screenshots of cancelled games that you wish could somehow be found or revived.

Would've loved to see Drift Stage complete.
Didn't some of it leak along with all that Duke Nukem stuff like two years ago or am I crazy?
>>367 (OP)
The original duke nukem forever looked incredible
I absolutely loved Duke 3D. Is there a modern port for Windows that's adds NetPlay?
