Tacos are the perfect food, its protein, carbs, veggies, dairy in a portable mouth friendly design that needs no utensils. wrap, store and go. And frankly, its pretty difficult to get tired of them. They're also easy to make. You can even eat them cold
>>275 (OP) I prefer a nice burrito or quesadillo, but a nice taco like your pic is a nice departure into that transitional state from soft tacos(traditional Messican ones,) and a nice loaded nachos. One thing about tortillas I don't understand is that it seems people don't get that they are like Take-n-Bake bread. Sure, you can eat them without toasting them over an open flame or in a cast iron skillet first, but if you haven't already; give it a try next time. >pic1 I also like to make frybread/Navajo tacos maybe once or twice a year. they are really good, and I use coconut oil to fry them in,(lard would be better,) but they are a bit much to eat more than that. https://keviniscooking.com/navajo-tacos-indian-fry-bread/
Well the rule is if its wrapped in a corn tortilla its a TACO, regardless if hard or soft. If its in a flour tortilla its a burrito, again it can be hard or soft. I just had 3 tacos today so my belly is happy
>>275 (OP) never had tacos but everything you said applies for hamburgers too. gotta love them
>>284 I have never heard of an "HARD" Burrito. do you mean like a Chimichanga? Is that even traditional? Are stuffed Arepas, Tacos? Are tortilla Messican pizzas burritos? I'm not really serious about that, but I don't know that I buy that your rules aren't made up.
