Greetings Gas guzzlers and Diesel Damsels.

Let's keep the board nice and clean, that means no sexualized imagery of anthropomorphized cars from the pixar movie cars

Use /diy/ for anything not related to cars

Enjoy!
Post cool cars you’ve seen IRL, you win 10 points if we can’t guess what it is. Il start.
I rented this bastard last year and loved it. Im so extremely conflicted, I thought opel was supposed to be the boring no name brand? The little Corsa I rented was so pippy and super fuel efficient, foot flat the engine gave a fun tone and went! albiet the interior gadgets werent exactly how i'd want them, but you can only bitch so much.

Post moar unexpectedly good cars you've driven.
Happy Almost April 20th, /o/ and o/.

Any anons who would like to share automobiles or military vehicles, especially rare photos or blueprints which have been used and created by Austria and Germany are welcome here.

For me, it's the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen Type 128-166.
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO
Been saving (lul) for a car for years. I drive a shitbox that is literally falling apart. 250k miles that I've been keeping up so that I can keep saving as long as possible.

However, I'm getting to the point where I'm putting more money into the car than I am saving money for the new car.

Can you suggest a car for me?
Needs:
>room to grow; currently have a family of 4 and want more.
>room to tow; would like to be able to have a decent trunk for groceries or hauling a bike.
>needs to last at least 500k miles (I know this is more dependent on my end and upkeep but some brands/cars are just junk.)

Wants:
>nothing ugly
>3 row to fit current kids + their friends or other family
>no car payment

I really want a Toyota RAV4 but with two kids in car seats, if we have another kid, I'm not sure a 3rd car seat will fit.
Then, I looked at a Sequoia but those fuckers are 60k new.
Considered another brand other than Toyota and the Toyota tax that brand carries. Saw Mazdas have 3rd row seating, are pretty affordable even for their 2025s and would meet all of my needs and some wants. The CX-90 looks like a decent option and would prevent me from needing to get a car payment.

Suggestions appreciated.
Yes, the US auto industry died after tail fins were removed. The glorious days of US automotive knowledge peaked with the 57 Chevy. Some company designers tried toadd MOAR power through MOAR fins, but were shut down because of the planned implosion of the US industry.
I've a fren with an 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. He's just under 100k miles and want's to make use of the battery and engine warranties. Any way to make this happen?
How did we go from this...
post bikes
Let's say i had the compulsion to drive a car into a synagogue or run over a procession of chicken slappers in NYC whilst they congregate in groups of at least 20+ individuals, by accident naturally. Which car ensures that i have the least amount of money to spend on upkeep.
I want my vehicle to be as intact as it can be after such a hypothetical situation.

Any suggestions for make/brand? and why?
