The new m2 is not the worst thing ever but the direction of the design language is all wrong. They took a wrong turn. It looks like a KIA, maybe because they poached a lot of German designers and they're all smoking the same sauce. Picrel was the last BMW to actually look like a BMW imo.

No but the point still stands, a beemer 30 to 40 years ago would literally drive you to the Moon and back in mileage and still purr like a kitten, these modern post-electronic cars inevitably start dying after 10 years or so because the circuit boards rot. 
It's not all in the "fun right NAO" anon it's in how long the car will provide you fun.
