Dear Anonymous Sirs:
I write to you today to address a disturbing web that grows around us in the present day. In honor of our greatest leader who was on April 20th, I would propose a cross-over of our respected boards.
There is talk of The Orcish Question, yes—but a far graver threat ensorcells us. I would like to speak, gentlemen, of The Gnomish Question. There is disturbing evidence uncovered that this rather odd, quirkish species has taken over all major newspaper outlets, in addition to deep connections to all forms of mercantilism and commerce within Arcanum. I am horrified to say that a source near to me has uncovered remote islands ran by one particular gnome-magician, specifically for the forced mingling of orcs with human women by means that I would not feel fit to describe in detail herein. Many of our figureheads in the realms of government, theater, and worship are involved but rumors speak of wide-scale suppression of these materials—let alone swift justice.
Long-standing has been a shift in our entertainment theaters and newspapers, with a robust emphasis on such interspecial relations, which I can say with confidence does not fit the views of my neighbors, friends, and our meeting places at the temple. There is a distinct pattern of gnomish names behind these articles and supposed 'entertainment'. No Smith, Balton, Torian, or even Magnus is behind such publishings - it has only been the Vollingers and Goldstocks.
Can any more of the respected gentlemen, forestfolk, and stonepeople spread light on this matter? What are we to do?
