It's more accurate and precise to simply consider conservatism a branch of the left-wing. Conservatives are yesterday's stale and rotten lukewarm radical progressives. Don't classify them as right-wing.
Julius Evola articulated what you are saying, however, about the right-wing: a preservationist must fight tooth and nail to maintain things in a vigilant state, when surrounded by the corrosive acid of society and culture (especially jewish socio-culture).
