I don't really see anything specifically wrong about Trump. If he was in a normal political cycle he would face far less controversy, have his policies sail through congress, be generally liked everywhere and then lose gracefully. This is how politics was like before the entire country bifurcated, you can read about it. There's no specific plank of Donald's policies or ideology which would be considered truly radical. He just happens to be white, rich, and became a champion of immigration reform which has been talked about since the 80s. Even his connection to Israel would have been far less controversial. The future of war is indirect fire at the squad level. If drones actually are unbeatable they should be as prolific as grenades in an infantry unit and used much the same way. I also think integration with near range mortars and the rest to use the information they generate makes considerable sense.  For instance automatic grenade launchers could be turned into highly effective indirect fire support technology guided by drones. A single squad on advance should always be able to call on a mortar team. The only use of direct fires would be raised and mop up
