I checked out luigi's goodreads. It's mostly fitbro self improver stuff in the atomic habits genre. He was a talented guy but I don't think had much depth to his intellectual side. In the shallows of the dissident sphere.
If you want to know if a book is good, do a background check on the author for his papers/positions. Check who is reviewing the book because this indicates his network- if stupid people are reviewing it, it means it's one of their stupid ideas. If authors of no-name books are reviewing it, it means they were expected to as part of their book publishing contracts.
Academics spend careers learning about abstractions without ever touching grass on the fieldwork to see how widely their construct differ from reality. It's for mentally blind idiots. Especially these big picture books that try to draw it all together, because unless you have a team effort or years of experience you can't possibly know the world outside of your hand. Life is too short to waste on bad authors
