What kind of bears?

If 10mm is issued to snow patrol for stopping polar bears as a defensive measure, I can't think of why .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO wouldn't do the job from a semi-auto for offensive utility.

They're astonishingly goofy animals.  It is, perhaps, unfortunate that when people with cameras get close enough to witness this kind of thing, they tend to stop being goofy. Faces occasionally get et.

Create bear food spots 10 miles out from your house, cultivate heavy-bear breeding areas, get sedation darts and put cameras on the adult bears while they are sleeping, have a natural defense guard of an army of bears, with cameras you can watch, if anyone wants to attack your home or ruby-ridge you, they will have to deal with hundreds and hundreds of bears, select your bear population to be angry and aggressive, you will learn how to move and live with the bears in your area, but if anyone wants to attack or ruby-ridge you, they will have to deal with hundreds possibly a few thousand angry bears.

When you put the cameras on the bears, if there is any tech that can even keep the cameras functional, put in a few little devices under their skin that can be activated via a radio frequency, that will buzz or release some sort of drug on activation that activates bear rage mode, if you are ever under siege activate the bear frenzy mode.

Anon, when the Constitution talks about "the right to bear arms," they're not talking about actual bears.  Nonetheless I find your ideas intriguing and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
