Picture unrelated…

Had this bizarre dream last night where I was revisiting my exs to go on a date again. It flashed forwarded like a movie. The only one where I actually got to see was one girl I dated the second longest. It was a horror able date I didn’t want to be there I wanted to go back to my regular life. It was like I was force to talk to them and clear the air. Weird part is I ran into a highschool friend asking about my son and kid. Want was I doing at the restaurant. So I left and got chased by the ex and told her we would end up unhappy or at least I would. She said something crying but couldn’t make out what she said. Then go pulled back to a car driving away. Dreams a weird

Thinking of getting into digital drawing with a pad, does anyone have experience with this? If so what tablet would they recommend? Going to use it with a pc, gimp, inkscape, krita, and piracy.

I don't, but I use gimp and my trusty mouse to make my OC.
I considered getting one myself some time ago just to shitpost harder but it will take some time getting used/comfy with that gizmo.
Just don't pay for photoshop, they censored the shit out of it, your own creations that right.
opt for the pirated version if you do.
>>347 (OP)
if your loaded go for some 5 year old touchscreen wacoms and see if you like.

I recommend a basic tablet with no display It's better because once you are comfortable with it you can just look at the screen with the tablet in whatever comfy position.

the touch tablets are pretty basic so any cheap one will work, older huion models for like 30$ are just fine. just don't get any model that has forced updates or connections or other jewed shit.

Make sure you get a tablet/pen with pressure sensitivity for stroke thickness/etc.

I've gone through a few tablets. IMO, it's better to spend a little more and get something nicer if you can. Huion tablets are a good middle ground of quality and price. If you spend $200-$300, you can get a nice entry level Huion with a decently big screen. If you buy a random budget brand for ~$100, my experience is that you'll end up replacing it in 1-2 years. I personally hate drawing tablets without their own built in screens, but you can get screenless tablets for $20-$50. If you can deal with their lack of a screen, I've never had one of those completely break on me. They tend to take a beating and keep working.

I avoid Gaomon tablets because I've had bad experiences with them. Their cables/ports have given out on me after just a few months. Wacom tablets are mid and I don't really like the feel of them. Also, when you switch to a new tablet there's always an adjustment period, so if it doesn't feel good to draw with a tablet right away, it might end up feeling fine after a few hours of use, once you've adjusted to the quirks. Doesn't matter how much time I spend with Wacom, it just doesn't feel good to draw on them, and I have difficulty quantifying why.

You should consider Paint.net as a free Photoshop alternative. Aseprite is good if you want something for pixel art (very cheap software, easy to pirate if you don't want to pay). Corel Painter is nice if you're autistic and K

Krita's great. If you don't mind the drawbacks and the subscription fee, I'd argue the Clip Studio Paint is better for general purpose drawing.

For tablets, I second the rec for a screenless one. Better posture, even if it takes a little to get used to the disconnect between where your hand and your eyes.

I hear Huion can be good for the price, though I'd personally recommend going for a Wacom. If you have the funds, the Intuos is worth it. If your budget is smaller, the One should meet your needs.

Finally, I do also recommend Xencelabs (especially on sale) as a Wacom alternative. Good pens, packaging, and durability in my experience.

Most of the American population is being FARMED for their wealth through the slow destruction of their health

In this thread we discuss the assault on health from the combined efforts of:
> The AG businesses,(Monsanto, Dow, NK, etc.)
>The food additive businesses,(SURPRISE!! A lot of the same players,)
>The Pharma industry,( Yep! once again--lots of consolidation,) and..
>The Medical/Sick-Care system.
I think many of us have suspected for a LONG time that there have been easy cures for many of today's Highly Profitable diseases, But I'd be willing to take it even further and say that there's plenty of evidence that long before the Boomers came along and streamlined the consolidation of the large corporate entities, There was collusion for profiting BY CREATING slow kill maladies that could be milked with palliative "Treatments" from field to table, then from Doctors to DEATH.
Certainly applying Hanlon's razor; "Never attribute to malice, that which can be explained by stupidity" may have been a large factor in the 40s and 50s--and that's ONLY saying ignorance as opposed to true stupidity, but certainly since the 80s, as more and more of the results of things such as chemical applications on food and nature,(Better profits through Chemistry, DOW®,) Suppression of the deletrious effects on our farmlands of factory farming, The damage from food additives, heavily treated and processed Corn Sugar and Oil/Fat replacements on health, and the massive influx of metabolic disrupting and Gut flora destroying Artificial sweeteners that were clearly RAMMED through safety testing for quick profits,(Nutrasweet was Donny Rumsfeld's baby in the 80s and got it rammed through FDA approval with massive lobbying and a PR smear campaign against saccharine,) and the now ubiquitous Sucralose, which is being added to most everything, even where it isn't needed, like sugary drinks, breads, sauces, etc. Sucralose was proven to have been Misrepresented in it's safety claims(read that LIED about,) and is a known, tested Genotoxin and Gut flora killer,(this is VERY important for your immune system and even cognitive function.)
When you do just the scantest amount of digging, you'll find that not only are 95%+ of the foods you eat,(well, most people,) produced by companies owned by only 5 Global corporations, but that many of those same Corporations are deeply involved with ALL of the above business concerns: Ag chems, Pharma Chems, Healthcare ((( SYSTEMS ))) and tied in with the Insurance and Political ((( SYSTEMS ))).
Certainly, Hanlon's Razor can be attributed pre-1980s, when the desire for companies to maximize PROFITS and minimize liability for their shitty, cheap, health damaging products. but ASK yourself: "Is it such a stretch to imagine preliminary reports coming back and top CEOs saying 'How can we make MORE from this?' --maybe not so much"
They certainly did it with the suppression of hydroxychloriquine and Ivermectin for Covid, as the entire pharma, news media and political machines moved in lockstep to push the greatest test study on gene therapy "drugs" in the history of the world, outright LYING about death counts on a weekly basis, often rolling 3 weeks of cumulative (and very often falsified ""Covid deaths, all while suppressing the reality of mostly empty hospitals,(dancing nurses&Doctors! YAY!,) Horrific adverse reactions, and the literal BILLIONS of dollars just handed over to Pharma corps for their shitty untested product. Do you remember all the new medications also being released and advertised at the time for Type2 Diabetes, IBS, Pancreatic insufficiency syndrome, psoriasis, depression, et all? How about all the leaked Memos from Pharma CEOs that revealed how FAKE and GAY the whole thing was and that many of them even refused to take the Vaxx themselves?
TheVAXX grift is just an example of ONE aspect of your Co-opted "HEALTHCARE" and not to be the focus of the thread; It's WAY deeper than that.
Just as the Tobacco companies Knew their product was adulterated to be more addictive, so are your foodstuffs being tampered with to maximize profits ACROSS THE BOARD from field to doctors office, to all the way to the BANK.(yeah, Blackrock has MASSIVE holdings in hospitals and healthcare, let alone Pharma.)

Good parents are truly a rare and blessed thing.
One thing I hope for this site, is that regardless of differences of thought, many of us here will get good info on riding out the storm.
Maybe, just maybe, quite a few of us can create good and TRUE things IRL so that as the future pounds away at us mercilessly, there are others to gird and support each other.

Stay in good health Fren. Perhaps we can build something even better than the glitter covered, empty promises relentlessly dangled behind thin, electric glass.

peak standard nutrition:

eat everything from a local farm, that is grass fed.

raw milk;

meat from ruminants (ie:cow)
ground beef is enough for majority but add some liver here and there for nutrients, occasional other cuts are good too, especially cooking them rare and getting that good blood;

eggs. (cook so yolk is still runny/raw, so like fried.

honey if you like.

cook these with plenty of butter/tallow/lard/olive oil.

forgot to mention: it does cost more than goyslop at wallyworld, but you'll find it doesn't cost as much as you'd think after your body catches up in nutrition ( assuming you were eating goyslop)

the nutritive contents of these foods means you eat less.

there is of course, more, but this is a straightforward method

I look like this and I do this
although I wouldnt say finding jobs is hard, I would prefer to have more options

some colleagues specialized in urban planing and zoning which has a stronger legal aspect to it, others are more into land surveying and they work out on the field
I personally focused on the data management/analysis aspect thinking I would find more opportunities, but competing against actual data analysts and CS grads is hard goddamn
currently looking to buy a drone and mess around with it to see if I can make a side hustle out of it

if you ever read writing by lawyers describing cases and how they act, you'll start picking up on this instantly. My favourite was where the guy was defending a homicide by gun from some drunk logger, and he gently convinced his defendent through a prolonged interview that his gun accidently went off rather than him actually firing it. Guy got off. This is how they fucking think- it doesn't matter what happened in real life, it's what the government can prove in a courtroom. Real quote that
>>303 (OP)
Here's the thing about court, judges, the law, etc:
>It doesn't matter if you do everything right
>It doesn't matter if you follow the law 100%
>The judge can and will fuck with you
Judges feel themselves above you. Lawyers are only allowed to talk with them SOMETIMES because lawyers are part of the "game." Anyone who's represented themselves in civil court knows judges will bend the law or lie to your face just to fuck with you. If you say the same words in the same order as your lawyer would say, you'll get a completely different result. If you make the same written request that your lawyer would make, you'd get a completely different result. Doesn't matter if it's moving the court date back, they don't care. If the judge breaks the law, other judges will have their back.

The law literally doesn't matter. What you can get away with does. The law literally doesn't matter. What you can get away with does. The law literally doesn't matter. What you can get away with does.

Repeat this until you understand it then repeat it again. I'm serious. Judges can fuck with you, so they will.

This sounds exactly like a lawyer acquaintance I knew 20 years ago. Tatted up, 32k Motorcycle with a custom nightshadow paint job, collected real human skeletons he'd bought from Peru or some shit, and smoked weed like a hippie.
It was before the chans were even a thing, but he would've been a /pol/Fag all the way.
He later got smashed into by some retard college kid while on his bike and almost died from TBI.
He stopped prcticing law after that, but sincerely gave me some of the best legal advice I ever heard.
>Never break more than ONE law at a time, If your plates are expired, don't do ANYTHING else questionable, if you're going to do anything else illegal and actionable,(drive home from a Bar? Make CERTAIN everything else is solid...Etc.)
>COPS ARE NOT your friends.
I know this one is practically common knowledge by now, but again it was WAYYY before even Trayvon Nigger. He'd tell me stories about clients who'd been FUCKED by cops, just for being honest with them--THEY ARE NOT THERE to keep you safe of "Keep the peace" They are at best, the clean-up crew; Glorified Jannys with badges and guns in a nutshell, and servants of the corporation-(city codes and ordinances)-, who's BIGGEST job is to A) get revenue for the SYSTEM, and B) Protect the Interests of the Corporation and further the cause and agenda of the current State.
NEVER talk to "Officials"
There have been at least 3 times I can recall when I called the police out of need,(burglary 2x, and on a drugdealer dealing smack and dope out of his truck in the driveway, 3doors down for the 3rd. I actually called on that one 16x and only ONCE even had a police car do a drive-by 3 hours later, and they never slowed ONCE. It should be noted that there were a LOT of corrupt cops in my area at the time-Still are, but I'm not there anymore; and more than likely the sheeboon Latrina or Q-A(Kewdasha, no shit a real name--"The dash DON'T BE SILEN' ") and cops on the shift were getting kickbacks from the dealers.
For the first 2, not only did they do JACK SHIT to help me out, they actually started trying to Question ME for some fucking reason, fishing for anything they could "GET" me on.

Back to the legal shit-- It's ALL a big bullshit game, Privi-Lege literally means Private Law in Latin. You PAY to play, and with the right Lawyers or enough money or even somehow having an "IN" with the judge, the rules are easily bent and even broken.
Ever gotten a speeding ticket you knew was going to fuck you up? Maybe without Insurance,(an automatic license suspension in many states,)? There's a thing called a DEFERENCE that one can get but ONLY through a lawyer. You're only ever supposed to get ONE.
I've gotten THREE(3) because of both the Lawyer friend and from my having been on the crew that built the State DA's house. He just pushed them through with NO ISSUE. Funny huh?

This is advice I've given other people word for word.

There are two kinds of cops: corrupt cops, and dead cops. That friend of the family who seems so charming and nice? Yeah he's covering for his bro who steals from the evidence locker. My grandfather was a cop and quit - his advice for the rest of his life was "If you're in trouble, call a fireman."

Everything you said is on the mark - a rare example of someone who knows what the fuck they're talking about.
