Here are the minimum standards to earn an 18X contract:
Push Up – 57
Sit Up – 66
2 Mile Run – 14:24
Pull Up – 6
5 Mile Run – 40 minutes
12 Mile Ruck w/55lbs – 3 hours (15 minute mile pace)

---

But in reality, the standards I have been told you should aim to accomplish are:
Push up – 82
Sit up – 82
2 Mile Run - 12 min 30s
Pull Up – 20
Abillity to march 40k multiple times a week w/o rest days
Abillity to do 24 hr ruck march
Abillity to do 20k Land Nav
Multi day sleep deprivation

Anybody else know of cool programs?

kek!
Good thing I'm not a kikesucking retard who thinks anything with '33' attached to it is Masonic.(still the jews!)

Anyway, I tried uoloading a link for the /pol/ translation of their military fitness program but kept running into blocks and other gatekeeping retardation,(not from here, I get why they don't allow PDF uploads directly, I just with they'd either collab with the old FC library, or dediacate a smol server to their own.
That might take some donations and volunteers,(at least 2 librarians,) to keep it running, but there's the Idea at least..

Anyway.
Heres' a link I KNOW will work, because it's MY upload:

https://library.frenschan.org/book/2659

You can either read it there or download it--As far as other military manuals or Non-military programs on fitness, I'd guess there are several. Look around.

I'm not schizopilled on the masons anon. I tend to look more for practical fitness requirements of the present day rather than 87 year old mill manuals personally. It's not like those guys were expected to carry half of what the modern soldier carries - no body armor, special weapons, optics and nvg etc.

I will fight you over the obsession with the german millitary. It was all good back in the Prussian days when they were only of the only millitarist societies in europe. But in today's world, it's just another millitary.

Hoisted on my OWN retard!

Also, I just typed "fitness" into the search and there were at least 7 good books on fitness programs, everything from US military FMs to Prison workouts.
*The Screen cap was FAIL*

I'm sure there are other keywords that will result in other training and exercise regimens, but play around with it. The librarians did a really excellent job there.

>I will fight you over the obsession with the german millitary.
No need, LOLZ, I'm just providing the info you asked for, and am not in anyway obsessed over German Reichstag's stuff.

you are definitely one of the funnier characters around here.

I've looked into what goes on during SEAL hell week. They make people go without sleep for five days and have them do constant millitary exercises to exhaustion. It seems like training your CNS to work in conditions of extreme fatigue is actually what the Special in SF is really about.

The other interesting one I know of is the Ranger program's ruck standards. They want people to march in 120lb packs, including short runs. All the army programs include sleep loss as a way to test your cortisol stress response, and in that one they make you go without sleep for three days. Which is a fairly standard number from my understanding

A typical march weight for army to my understanding, is like a 10lb plate front and back for 20lbs and another 40lbs in pack weight. The rifle you should also simulate which is about 8lbs to carry. Lots of sports injuries in their training which is something to watch out for

regarding SAS, I've talked with participants in their program and it seems to be heavy on endurance running. They have their trainees run 30-40k (near marathon distance) every day for a week. People's knees give out under that kind of pressure. Glucosamine supplementation will help mitigate this but quite a bit of these programs go well beyond physical human endurance.

It's been said you can be near SF qualfiied if you can do an Iron man marathon. Which is like Bike 120km, run 40km, and then swim 3km in a single 24 hour period.

I think jekel ragequit when jannies and users started ebullying him. I mean they'll all be back
>>39
Definitely. I think the difference is that expected march distances have shortened as most Infantry is Motorized or Mechanized. On exercises they only expect their men to walk about 20km. Which is a very short distance by real marching standards.

Whereas by contrast elite infantry of the ww1 era was expected to be able to march 40km a day. Most good hikers can do about 30km, or 8 hours at 4km/hr without feeling too bad

Yeah, funny LOOKIN'!
Anyway.
I was shocked to see from the article I posted that 2019 soldiers carry 30-40lbs MORE than their WW2 counterparts...
Seems backwards doesn't it?
I suppose much of it has to do with the greater ability of airdrops and support vehicles...maybe.

Anyway. I was truly just trying to give some info asked for, since the thing that's going to make this chan even worth it is being able to help and support /Ourfrens/ with info and ideas, instead of the current Chan bullshit where everyone has to be a shitty, backbiting, One-upping, faggot.
That's a part of "Chan Culture" that just needs to DIE.
That's what 90% of Normie, IRL shit is anyway.

I am an Oldfag,(but NOT a Booomer!,) and One thing that becomes more and more important as you pass 40 is MAINTENANCE fitness.
20 years ago 60 pushup were child's play. Not now.
What they don't tell you , and you never believe anyway, is that almost LITERALLY on your 40th Birthday, you swing your feet out of that bunk/bed/whatever, and the first thing you hear yourself say is >"OW!! WTF!!??"
You think I'm kidding...I swear, I'm not.
Seriously, ask EVERY 40+ person you run across.. only one in 20 will tell you
>"Nah, no more than usual..."
Keep that nutrition and maintenance exercise UP!

>I think jekel ragequit when jannies and users started ebullying him.
Well, THAT they brought on themselves.
Don't tell them, For GOD'S SAKE!! Don't let 'em know, but as fucking childish as Doge is, and Neurotic and insane as Jackiril is, I kinda like them, and they'd definitely have been at my lunch table in middle school, talkin' about How Stephanie and Stacy's tits are coming in nice, then fookin' legos and transformers next, lel!

>they'll all be back
In less than a week, Fren, LESS than a Week.

That said, it takes VERY little time,(barring injury,) for guys 20 years OLDER than me to get their levels up to 3/4rs your modern requirements.
My pack is ~80#s when fully outfitted for buggin'
this thread reminds me I haven't "Rucked" for over 2 years.
I may have to do the "Empty it out and fill it with 2 liter pop-bottles filled with water" with increasing weight added slowly.
Springtime too...Time to service the old Trek!

Be Careful. I know a relative who had a stroke because of the increased blood flow from preparing for a marathon. These mill standards are basically a young man's game and more of an olympic sport than utillity standards.

What I know about muscle mass is that you only start really losing your capacity with age if you fail to maintain exercise standards. Doesn't have to be full tilt SF program stuff, I mean it's just whether or not your keep your muscles active enough to maintain mass. Same with your brain really.

the reason weight increased for infantry is that electronics and more sophisticated gear have developed. It is ridiculous and and probably not worth trying to compete with. Some guy in 20lb plate armor is not mobile whatosever. At 120lbs people are talking about how their knees give out. Almost everyone says infantry service grinds the body down because of these inhumanely heavy load standards

This book is army propaganda but it gives a good idea of marine force recon fitness standards. Better than typical writing and the author actually saw combat. So much so he evidently figured it was a suicide mission to continue and dropped out of the service. Was turned into the generation kill tv series

the reason why the practical numbers are higher than the minimum is that it's a competitive entry program. Trainees go in with scores well above the expectations to get placement and it becomes a rat race where everyone has to keep up. Moreover the instructors deliberately torture people to push them beyond their maximum fitness levels. What I've learned by reading into SF, as mentioned earlier, is that they are actually trying to train people's nervous systems on how to function when at the absolute extremes of their physical limits. Like how Olympic athletes learn to better use their CNS for their specific skill... except in this case it's to learn how to adapt under maximum punishment.

A common trope for instance is elemental exposure in water until candidates are so hypothermic they hallucinate. Instructors know the times they can push people to and go right up to the line of injury. The sleep deprivation also does this. They are always training very high endurance until muscle failure and then continuing to push the candidate. The whole thing is very fucked up, like how the sun dance was a warrior rite for NA indian cultures

Yeah. These programs are not based on real operating requirements. It is simply an Olympic games promotion for zigbits to give ordinary suckers the impression they can enter the elite forces instead of scrubbing urinals with all the other bullet sponges. The demand is massive, but you only need a few hundred guys doing special operations in an army at most.

And really, if you fail out you kind of dodged a bullet. Because the sf people all get sent into active duty almost guaranteed and will develop PTSD but not be able to treat or talk about it

Dutch Commando Corps basic requirements should be doable for everyone. You can technically even become a commando at 35 Y.O.

Use Yandex image translate to get the translation of each page.

Minimum requirements:

Coopertest
>12 mins run
>minimum of 2800meters (in 12 mins)

Pushups
>2mins minimum 30x
lets be honest this is faggot tier
Sit ups
>2mins minimum 40x
lets be honest this too is faggot tier
Pull ups
>No time, minimum 6x full extension and pull up until the chin is above the bar.
this might be a challenge for most people since 88% of the population has issues doing even a single one.
Swimming
Real shit right here
>Wearing overalls, five forms (of swimming)
>breaststroke 50m

Jesus that's insane, I barely managed 16~ minutes when I did the ACFT at my most fit. The pushups in the first one isn't bad, I can do that, the situps I gotta work on, pullups I am actually able to do. That ruck pace is insane too, I don't think we even got there during TRADOC in the mandatory and voluntary rucks, I think we did around a 20 minute pace with 55lbs. If every /K/ommando hit the bar of the first fitness test then they'd be good, hitting the second standard and they'd be set, sleep deprivation isnt something to get used to as the end goal though. Train on being able to sleep anywhere and do what the fucking hadjis did with their power naps scattered throughout the day, your fighting efficiency drops on trying to get a solid block of sleep

I managed that ruck pace with 40lbs. It was basically a slow run the whole time. Not sure how big mein legs will be by the time I get to 55 if that ever happens. I am never going to train for that sleep deprivation thing, that is torture
