northern utah winter 05/06 decided to detour off interstate to ufo hunt link back up with interstate...9/10pm? see what looks like a spinning rubix cube miles away through a telephoto lens...no film of course...park on hills and flash lights 4-5 times...second to last time we see a second one above us same distance away as first one ahead at this point it looks like a smaller uap is orbiting the first  one....stop for the last time and get out after flashing...30-50 different points of light around us...360 deg..start flashing like flash bulb/fire flies   couldnt tell if points of light origin were 20 feet away or 100 like small stars exploding...silent...30-40 seconds...checked clock didnt think we lost time but who knows...then 5-6 helicopters from 3 different directions headed our way so we hightailed back out...light snow in desert...i saw things before that and alot after but nothing like that...had one link with my mental projection when i "spotted" a dark one on the move...turned and through a spot light on...came straight down like ot was playing chicken and veered off...if it happened any slower id have pissed myself

knowing what i know now, i think they were calling me out there, idt i happened to fall into position after that i was already lined up, although i think they wanted to feel me out or do some programming with the flashes...who knows wtf they can do if im not even sure if i lost time
