You're young if you can't recognize the same GTA trailer format since forever.

I bought gta v a year ago for maybe $5, and that is the most I've spent on gta in my whole life. Same thing, I can never finish my playthrough since I'm too busy checking other shit out. I'm more excited to hear what they have for the radio. Vice City Stories had the best talk radio, so maybe we can go back to PRESSUNG THE ISSUE

the heart of these games was always the humor
much of the original people that made it what it was left

it probably keeps getting delayed because they're desperately trying to "fix" it since the zeitgeist shifted mid-production and not only is everyone beyond sick with the "no punching down" kind of shit but the media apparatus has dropped all of that hard as shit too
still gonna suck since the company has obviously lost the balls that made it popular to begin with

tbqh I've only ever enjoyed GTA for being able to run around and do whatever. This also seems why online is so popular. The humor is... Eh? If I wanted funny shit I'd play saints row. Are there people that actually enjoy the campaigns?

and with the not punching down there's a ton of other elements that come into play

they've never been completely immune to outrage blowback, that's why there's never been any kids running around the games they didn't even want to fuck with any of that criticism, so how does some new outlook alter all of the shit you were once able to do

I know it's probably dumb of me but I'm going to be cautiously optimistic on this one. I just have a really bad feeling about this considering every single OG GTA dev has left the company at this point and I know what the people in charge of Take 2 are like.

Im currently playing FC5 (played all the previous ones and this will be the last, im not going to touch FC6 and New Dawn). FC5 has incredible graphics and landscape, gotta give credit where its due, but that is where it all also ends. Gameplay is so shallow compared to previous games, its not even really a FC game at this point. Almost all popular franchise followed the similiar path. Old devs depart, newfag dei hires arrive and ruin everything, then once again great devs will come back a fresh blood so to speak, the eternal cycle.
