here's the redpill.  God made mankind to know Him, thats why all human beings are inherently religious whether they're aware of that aspect of ther personality or not - and many arent.  this is also why the first of the ten commandments is thou shall have no other gods and make thee no false idols which, of course, we do.  anything can be an idol.  science, politics, sex, fame, wealth, power, etc

oh and one more thing.  its unscientific to be an atheist because the overwhelming majority of our species have reported feeling the presence of God and our feelings are a form of emperical observation just like the rest of our senses.  science always loses the plot when it enters the realm of pure theory with no emperical observation
