They probably want this type of terrorism. They are still convinced that they can paint this type of terrorism as the reason why shit is so expensive and argue for greater controls by doing so. The video of the man setting Toilet paper on fire is A.I. not sure about the others. Given that, I can assume this is intentional. They have an interesting way of setting up the game that often times the ways in which you are geared to react actually fall into what they want to happen, action and inaction both work towards their goals. The strategy like I said before is likely going to be finger pointing and shifting blame. And then taking more control.
Problem - Action - Solution is eternal and it’s not always completely on the face of the even but embedded within a complex dialectical framework, that always throws the majority off the scent when it is casted as “good and revolutionary” especially in this case. The conservatives are already whining that guy was probably a deranged leftie. On YouTube people are denouncing the supposed firebombing of Sam Altman home. “Violence is never the solution” is already creeping back into the dialogue. People as a whole are whiny little brats that can suffer abuses near indefinitely.
“Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”
