I've been coming here since the 4chan hack. Used to be you could check in a couple times a week and have a halfway decent conversation with someone about whatever. I've seen activity drop like a fucking rock over the last month or so. 

First, the only boards that seem to matter are /b/, /bant/, /pol/, /x/, and /biz/. The rest of the site has sporadic activity at best (dead for days or weeks, a flurry of activity for a time, then dead again), and seem to mostly be a toilet where off-topic threads from /pol/, /x/, and /biz/ get dumped.

I don't think it's over moderation by any means. Quite the opposite, simpletons and ne'er-do-wells seem to have run of the place, and very little is being done to put them in check.

There's a very limited cast of characters at work here:
1. The Canadian - This guy makes at least one post a day specific to Canada, and often includes a call to action. /b/, /pol/, and /bant/ all have at least a half dozen of his threads near the top of their catalogs right now.
2. The "Turbojew kikenigger glowfed kill kill kill" tor poster - He never has much to say, beyond making sure everyone knows kikes  are everywhere and everyone posting here is a kike or a fed for noticing that his bullshit and his five infographics on every post in every thread on the whole entire site have nothing to do with anything.
3. The one or two other tor posters that just seem to be miserable malcontents. But that type seems to come with the territory. I think these ones eventually devolve into Guy #2. One guy's got jokes, even if it's autistic toilet humor.

So there's four or five people shitting the place up. Plus the odd migrant riding out a 3-day from 4 posting inanity.

There's like no fun here. No humor. Spam and links to CP stay up for hours or days. And you're inevitably going to get called a kike for not bringing up kikes in a thread that's not about kikes. In between, all we get is [CURRENT THING] and a never-ending flood of Canadian news by some literal, actual, clinically-diagnosable retard that indents his sentences for no apparent reason.

This site is a chore to use. Like that one guy that used to be cool like 5 years ago and you still talk to him and occasionally hang out, even though he's a miserable fuck and never does anything but complain.

Also, the thing 4chan does really well is swarm intelligence and aggregation. But really, the best option they have right now is simply sending their own liberal retards into the mix to try and redirect the swarm towards or amplifying bad ideas such as communism, dark kamala, disavowing donald trump, the ukraine nafo shills or whatever. But the individual participants have all long since encultured and usually can tell what real versus false signals actually are and ignore that toxic shit. There's a very simple reason why 4chan is an effective medium. I can go on there and post a redpill, or an infographic, or merely repost someone else's useful information and it will hit 100 people who are not just randoms but are key nodes in the information distribution network which is the digital right.
Conversely If I go outside and do that, maybe one or two bluepilled people who don't care or are hostile might hear it. 

Actually these days, the cops will just arrest you the moment you step into a public role on a pretext anyways. The concept of public spaces and public opinion and all these older ideas don't really exist. Quality takes time and it’s not always going to be appreciated. There is also a limit to effort posting. I would rather write a book at this point.
