I heard some talk about it a while back like it was going to be a thing. Yet I still see no archive unless I'm retarded which I well could be. Any further news and developments on an Ourchan Archive?

Nothing. QS is having some living issues, I believe and is too busy for this.

Damn hope shit gets better. I rember early on an anon suggesting just creating anouther board that you couldnt post on that could serve as an archive dump. I dont know shit about image board programing but wonder if this could do for a kind of archive. There are some decent threads with info I would like to see preserved .

I guess I should give an update:
I've got a decently fast site going with the basics down (thread mirroring/board browsing) and working. Scraping is working but I'd like to tweak how it's done. Search functionality needs testing. I'm also not happy with the styling/layout but that should be simple enough to fix. I'm not happy with the DB performance so I want to optimize and get ahead of that so there's no trouble down the line.

All in all I've got a couple bugs to fix and some high level design/layout issues to fix but I've been focusing on more day to day stuff.

Never been happier to be proven wrong. God bless QS. Let us know if you want other eyes on it and when the software's ready for dep.
UH SO ANY UPDATES ON THE ARCHIVE? I CHECKED BACK IN AFTER SOME TIME AND WAS SAD TO SEE A THREAD WITH A LOT OF INFO GONE. NO PRESSURE JUST BEEN HEARING WE WOULD HAVE ONE FOR A WHILE

bro just get in the habit of using archive.is, I've been using it to pre-emptively preserve my posts in case of mod unreasonability for years

some sites will expect you to bareback and then some idiot mod will kneejerk at a couple posts and IP wipe you, wiping out hundreds of posts from weeks all over a site
as a bonus those are typically the kind of mods that want to bullshit and lie through their teeth about it after the fact, so you then have incontrovertible proof, too

I always make multiple backups of threads on both
