Publishing house in Paris set up by the YMCA, includes a bookstore and Russian cultural center. They initially published textbooks and literature for Russian emigres, then became one of the major publishers of Russian dissident literature.

iirc it was a short book about a German tank commander and the battalion he was in retreating back to their lines through the cover of the forest after the soviets pushed through. The book immerses you very well into the war and their reality.

Ive also recently been reading Over the horizon, the secret murdoch episode, love it
Probably "The Picture of Dorian Gray''. But I also loved Robinson Crusoe.

>The Earth is Weeping by Peter Cozzens
Just an excellent summation of the indian wars.

I'm not sure if I can claim it as my favorite, but I recently finished The Civil War: A Narrative by Shelby Foote and it is also excellent.
