Well, I would say two things in response. 1) if you cannot ascertain the fact that God does indeed exist from a survey of nature, your age is surely higher than your IQ. 2) once established, then comes questions regarding the purpose of creation…then deeper and more poignant questions arise when contemplating the reason for sapience and free will within the context of sapience.
I think a lot of pea brains have great difficulty with the concept of God when their understanding of God reveals that He does things differently than would the average pea brain. This gives them endless fits of consternation. Pea brains are so incredibly intelligent it does stand to reason that no small measure of frustration results in them when God demonstrates Himself to be inferior to them. And so they conclude that God surely cannot exist, otherwise He would surely be at least as smart as the pea brains. It does make a lot of sense. And were I half as smart as you guys, I’d probably share your frustrations. Fortunately, I’m so dumb I never hit upon these moments of bristling lucidity like you guys.
What’s it like to be so smart you outsmart God? That must be awesome!
