Besides this place what are the usable chans and image boards that still exist and are some what active. I think a network would be good and if this place goes down we have places to retreat to and regroup. It was hard to ask this question on 4chin since I feel the jannies there didn't want you to talk about alternatives or escape the prison.

Keep seeing lainchan mentioned here. It's good for tech, but they're either ex-glowies are actual glowies there. Some of them admit this. Think snowden-tier but more geeky and can't get girlfriends. And probably not because they're geeks but because they are all drug addicts and probably act like weirdos around girls because their brains are fried. Also the owner is a kike. Although I get the hint he doesn't like niggers. But I think one of his mods is a nigger so idk. Anyways check https://allchans.org/ they try to list every chan in existence. Picrel

I had a hard time figuring out the culture it seems like every one name fags as cyberpunk characters . I'm not use that am I supposed to come up with some cool hacker name ? its weird its like an image board but not. I used it as an example because at least it seems functional but I haven't figured out the culture there. At least that will likely protect it in the long run being so fringe for an image board.

I have seen this site before. Decide to check it out again. Go to the article on list of top chans. Click on 8chan Moe. See boards like Diaper Love and zoophilia. Sigh.

the first time i posted i assumed the same thing, site auto generates names if you leave that field blank based on some internal list. The whole board is based around an obscure anime of a girl who slowly becomes one with the internet and tech, this is why it draws alot of nerdy but highly competent tech bros

It's not actually that good. I think only people who could identify with it are sexless incels, trannys and drug addicts. The only thing cool about it is it predicted the smart phone before the smart phone existed.

>>120
They give you a random name for every post to improve privacy supposedly.

Overall the place is full of druggies and people struggling with mental illness and "intrusive thoughts and feelings" lol. And some actual real glowies. It pretty much represents the state of the Western Intelligence Community as a whole.

Kek. happened to everyone.
None to my knowledge. Haxing subculture is just a recruitment pipeline for contractors dude, stay the fuck away from all of their cons and their info drop nets because that is where they start looking into you. Government considers it a form of disruptive xtremism and has comped it as badly as all the retarded White people party movements.

Imageboards are all in decline because zoomers use adhd video meme technology. Because they are too stupid to type in text based posts and argue like sentient humans
>>124
The people who do the hacccx con keynotes are contractors. They infiltrate and control the skids, by being the people in the pipeline handing out the information they want to know. trouble is, they only give them poisoned apples. Many of the privacy tech people, almost all the ethic hak blogger stick bundles, all of those fucking people are connected in one way or another to laundered government activities. They go and chat up people to learn their methods and use it to pose as outsiders. There is no such thing as a group that has recorded activities longer than five years which is not state sponsored. That's how it is

imageboards come and go, anon. the general lifespan of an imageboard is:

** gets up and running, is pretty decent for a while before it's abandoned for [reason].

** gets up and running but hardly anyone ever shows up and it becomes a zombie board that maybe one or two people keep trying to use for [reason].

** gets up and running but eventually becomes toxic because [fill in a demographic that you despise] bum-rushes it and populates it with their filth until the owner up and ends it.
Here's a bunch:

Bumping this thread for refugees to see its great to see ourchan get new blood but we shouldnt put all our eggs in one basket or well end up in the same situation . Decentralization is key survival. We need places to to regroup if one board goes down and maybe this is a chance to breath life into some sleeping chans. On 4cucks they would not allow discussions of alternatives. Here that cant be the case .

I know this post was months ago, but why the hate for webrings? I miss when they were a popular method for site discovery. There was a great thread about reviving webrings on Frens Chan, but I think their plans fell through. Does anyone else remember it? Would love an archive or screenshots.

They're primarily interested in technology. They have boards for cultural/media discussion, drug discussion, etc., but the main focus is essentially /g/ style technical discussion. Some of the users seem pretty knowledgeable. Centrist might be a fair descriptor.

instead of "places to regroup" (i.e. full on 4chan replacements), i think those of us who can should provision replacements for particular sub-communities. like lainchan (although it already existed), is effectively "/g/++" in a way.

myself, i mostly used 4ch for the /vr/doom community and wouldnt be opposed to provisioning an imageboard for that community, and adjacent discussion like for other oldschool FPS games.

many other people specifically miss their particular board, whether its /tv/, /sp/, etc.

i think the best course of decentralization could be for whoever is capable from each hobby centric community to build their own small niche chan catering to that community. this way, it would maximize the number of sites being created and keep things maximally distributed.

I'm not a mod, but I'd say certainly that a beer/alcohol thread on /ck/ would be welcome.
The NiggerWeed thing is an orphan topic. It's not illegal but neither is pr0n, which isn't allowed here. There are plenty of other sites that focus heavily on this topic. You'll definitely want to post a question to the Mods about IF and WHERE you'd post a Cannabis thread, likely /b/ or maybe another.
/ck/ wouldn't be the place, (even with the inherent pun,) but that's as much as I could give ya...

it's stupid memes for internet kids. The point is that it shows an ideological viewpoint in seconds and the viewer doesn't even fathom it until much later, they just find it funny. The self identification as the chud character is humiliation but otherwise life finds a way and our memes are finding a way. It's not something I'd put as my computer background, but the memes trend so that doesn't like

I would *hardly* call Lain usable. If you thought wordfilters were cancer on 4cuck, Lain went full force with them in all the wrong ways. It's clear to me that Lain is not the same chan culture of 8chan/4cuck, but a completely disconnected group, and based on the wordfilters I hit they feel very... transsexual and gay.
