What’s the best way to wash your Garloids after milking? I’ve read that tap water can be harmful to their glands.

While it depends on the species and the age, it's always to a safe bet to only use WARM spring water post Ex-Lactariation, as cold water has been shown to cause Galactothrombus, (blood streaked milk,) due to the fragile nature of the mucoid gills of yearling Post-Heifers.
Older ones are MUCH more resiliant. and cleanliness of water is more important than temperature.
If spring water isn't readily available,(as is sometimes the case in desert Garloid dairys, either an RO water filter, or even boiled, cooled and then "Freshened" water may be used,(poured back and forth between containers to pick up ambient nitrogen and oxygen,) if it is buffered with 100ppm addition of NaCl, KCl, and a 150ppm addition of NaHCO3(Bicarb of soda)

Of course if you happened to have gotten your hands on some of Greylax's hybrids, you can disregard all the above, as they were painstakingly bred for rough treatment and harsh conditions, for traversing the junk rings of Artraax II's "Comet graveyard"
Wait a minute...
Are you REGISTERED to farm garloids on this pl...Wait WAIT WAIT!!
Ah well. I just checked with the local council and they said "Doesn't matter, the Cat's outta the bag anyway--This previously guarded info has made it over to *Shudder* Reddit..."
So no big secret anymore than.

Of course you may know by now that it isn't the Chlorine in the tap water as it is the Fluoride DEADLY to garloids.
although it is rumored that Greylaxxian Labs® is working on a crossbreed where that is no longer a problem.

You can always tell a hybrid, even in a mixed sow tank, due to the characteristic patterning of the hide. This was built in as a secondary safety feature for large operations, though those have taken a recent hit as demand for garloid milk has been on a downward track for the last 6 cycles.

Reminder that unlicensed garloids are illegal in 47 states. They must be serialized and microchipped, even for personal use.

This was true until last week. Recent back-room legislation due to the glut of counterfeit garloid milk, spawn, spoor and other products imported from China's "sharkskin belt" made it illegal in 48 now,(Canadian border leakage into Washington state,) with pending further restrictions on the remaining 2.
The gate's been closing slowly now for 10 years. It will be a sad day when only outlaws can raise Garloids.
I can't believe the jannies allow this shit. This place is going to get taken down.

KEK!
Erm..I mean NO, it's fine, much of the tri-system opposition to opening garloid dairys and ranches to the public has been quashed.
You'd be surprised just how much of that USAids munny went into lobbying AGAINST lifting the mandates, and ENCOURAGING abuse and reckless garloid exploitation.

It wasn't so long ago that you could see THOUSANDS of spent, overmilked Grannsies just cast off into backwoods streams and lakes, to be predated by anything that would eat them.
Certainly the smell of a decaying garloid is off-putting to even 'possums and vultures, but when many animals get a taste for fresh ones, it's like they become addicts, almost.
The Conservium Of Concerned Keepers, Servitors, Underwriters, Caretakers, Kennels, Extension agents, & Regulatory Specialists has always been FAKE and GAY.
Just look at their Acronym...
Literally Billions of dollars, just to run smear campaigns against the Consortium of Homegrown Agri-Dairys and their subsidaries.
the WHOLE THING is a dirty sham.
GM...

fuck garloid milk.
I just slice them up, dip in egg, then flour, then fry them in an inch of oil over 3/4 heat on electric stove 2 minutes on each side. looks like onion rings - tastes like chicken

can confirm
>went to visit family in Nelson BC and took garloids
>unbeknownst to me the community fluoridates
They all fucking died man, I was so sad. I don't know how a town full of old hippies fluoridates their water but it's true.
