Is it actually possible to anonymously buy BTC or other crypto from scratch? I tried looking into a bit but it seems quite complicated

Guides tell you to go to an ATM that accepts cash. All of these locally have KYC and a front facing camera on them now. So now the very first step is already out even before I get to the BTC tumbler.

I'm not sure how else I would acquire crypto. The agenda isn't even to buy drugs or anything dangerous, it's just that it defeats the entire premise of using crypto to buy anonymous internet access

Thoughts?

That looks like a legit guide? The stumbling block for me is going from cash to btc. Unless you just want to troll me as a nocoiner behind the curve....

kek. BTC is not fungible so it doesn't matter how good your opsec is. Feds see everything on an open blockchain like that and can fill in the gaps because the people you send to/receive from wont do all that shit.

not really. one way would be mining (you pay electricity bills and receive crypto) but that has horrible break-even point (initial capex + you are competing against literally the cheapest energy in the world)

The word "Bitcoin" is the OPPOSITE of "anonymity". This is what the 70 IQ scammers fail to grasp – if you use BTC, everybody can see where the money came from, where it went, what was the time of the transaction, and a bunch of other trivia. Selling/buying stolen items for BTC is a timesaver for the cops.

You might think that you could use a tumbler (they're all scams btw, you'd lose your funds) – but then everyone would see that you sent your funds there. That's like a red glowing arrow for the feds, even if you're not involved in any illegal schemes.

If you really, really want to use crypto anonymously, your best bet is getting Monero or one of its clones – and this exactly the reason why the governments around the world cracked down on it, and why most of the crypto exchanges dropped it.

However, if you want to conduct a truly anonymous transaction, you will have to use cash. There's no other way around it.

I prefer Bitcoin since I don't buy drugs, don't buy CP, and don't put personal ideology ahead of making money.
