Let's talk about everything Bitcoin related. Lightning network, RGB and other smart contracts, BIP proposals like CTV, ETFs & options trading, weaponizing Bitcoin through Softwar, Microstrategy, and more.

Never understood why people don't ask for donations through Lighting. It's so easy.

Most do.
apparently monero can be tracked despite all these lame privacyguru claims. Which rather undermines the entire point of it

you still need to practice good opsec

Always.
t. Abject retard NO-Coiner
But I do wish someone with a level headed outlook,(Read: NOT a "True Believer") would run a critical and knowledgeablethread for n00bs.
I've been watching all things "Cyber" ,(compy OSes, Phones, the IoT, even the Neo-Casino, the Stonk, market thanks to nanosecond ETF trades...) since 2014, and one can ONLY come to the conclusion that it's ALL FAKE and GAY and heavily manipulated by the (((Ones who Runs))it.
That having been said, there's no reason that some of these financial tools can't be used by us to get a foothold on acquiring real wealth.
Sure, the shoeshine boys are already talking "Stock tips" and it's well established that whales holding billions in assets can manipulate Billions with little more than a position move in most anything...But how can poor schlubs like you or I possibly take an extra $20-200 and build it up over the next 3 years into a store of wealth that one can actually DO anything with? Perhaps that's the benefit of being a SMOL FISH; being able to convert our smol holdings into real palpable wealth, as opposed to being a 120K+ HODLer who when the crucial moment of need comes, can do fuck-all with it, either due to access,(electronic failure,) "Illegality", or just a major crash due to a 1% RUG-PULL which may be an inevitability since it seems to be part of the Great Reset's goal to roll everything into CBDC Disney e-bucks beholden to the Panopticon's SmartWorld™ System.

Everything,(predictably,) that was sold to us as secure and anonymous over the last 10 years has been shown to be Smoke&Mirrors bullshit; Tor, VPNs, ALL Crypto, even cash,(yeah, dollar acceptors everywhere have been scanning and tracking serial numbers since 2004, possibly before--Use real cashiers if possible.)

Food for thought:

And THIS,(If you can get past the conjecture that Hitler was Jewish, some of the other info seems well dug up)

Monero isn't "Safe" either:

I'd really love to be able to build up some $$$, even if it means spending full days doing it, but how does one effectively do it without the risk of RUG-PULLS on shit coins, etc. ?

Left out a few points...
Sorry, only on my first cup of Caffeee

yeah, I've concluded onion is a total aquarium job as well at this point. The writeup I followed claimed it's just a vehicle for gov data collection using the drug traffic and activist bullshit angle as obfuscation. Like every other one of these services. Waking up fucking sucks, don't ever let them trick you into thinking your glass house has solid walls to it

This is just the sort of shit jews say to make you feel uncomfortable. Ignore it. Same as tor posting, sure MAYBE with enough work they could trace you back but it doesnt fucking matter because YOU dont matter.

Not mattering is why Monero fails. You're telling everyone you've got some important shit to hide and unless you've got perfect opsec (no one does), it sets off a flag for further investigation. But Bitcoin, everyone's got Bitcoin now and as long as you're not big league you can get away with a ton of shit and no one cares or even notices.

This is only true in the very short term, in less than 10 years glowies will have automated tracking BTC and the IRS will only have to push a button to get the info
there is no escaping XMR

Do not trust Monero. It's not the most well-written software and it would take only 1 unfixable bug to kill the network. Treat your TXs there like a hostile entity can see it.
