White Idpol and MAGA populism in the United States. Ever since 2016, Trump has been courting white identity politics electorally in his rhetoric and tone. Similarly, a large cohort of his supporters are motivated by fears of demographic change and gravitate towards this form of identity politics.

Unfortunately, it's all for show. While Trump often uses white idpol talking points, there seems to be a serious disconnect between Identitarian concepts and what the American government actually does. The FBI, for instance, still to my knowledge classifies white identity as a form of extremism. The government sponsors race-blind conservatives to downplay the existence of this faction or redirect it into irrelevant second-status positions. Essentially, it's all for show and merely a dog whistle.

Unsurprisingly, this contingent watches early developments keenly, hoping for recognition, and then quickly loses interest. It's happened before, during Trump's first electoral cycle, and it's happening again. The white house faces political opponents who explicitly use race-based identity thinking, and this causes them to win elections and potential some indefinitely, but still denies this powerful strategic weapon out of hope of being fair.

I don't know, is god going to look back at the ongoing separation of western politics on the function of race and say the color blind loser was ultimately the better man? Probably not. We don't have to embrace the worst elements of identity politics to incorporate it, any more than Black Lives Matter has been incorporated negatively in left wing political organizations. And clearly, threatening the identity of whiteness was key to getting Trump Elected

Jared Taylor, give it a try

There's some positive developments. At least people recognize that while they might let a few strangers visit their house, nobody in their right mind would simply give it away. Family property usually stays in the family
