Who in their right mind would ever support this shitty society when this is what it does to people?
None of those things were part of the "dream". It was accented that we would have lots of money, anything materially we could desire, look beautiful and fit and happy all the time, could travel places wherever and whenever we want and own anything we want. Talk about idealistic puer aeternus.

Actually they were. It's a social compact where the incoming generation, who was created to replace the older one aging out, gets to re-experience the things the previous one had. Otherwise there wouldn't be a society whatsoever.

If you don't get all of these things by the time you're 30 the world you grew up doesn't support your own way of life and is going to deteriorate. The new generation gets to judge the society which made them, and what we have today has betrayed it's own children and should cease to exist immediately.

Now excuse me while I investigate ways to fly to japan and punt streetwalkers

I was being sarcastic and no, what OP was alluding to was long after original conception of the American Dream, what i wrote is what was the dream in the past 2-3 decades or so, family unit was just a cherry on top, not a requirement. All of it is ultimately about selfishness.

What you Nigel and OP wanted to think about is a late reminder of what it should actually be, not what majority average people were promised in the past couple of decades.

Serbia has a negative fertility rate too friend, its not easy finding a girlfriend and starting a family here aswell, but its more due to high standards held by populace and low salaries. A Serb wants to earn million dollars while idling and even then you wont convince him to start a family easily.

Think about what people actually evolved for. If they don't have any of the essentials or investment in the future, they have nothing. I'm not sure how widespread the maladaption actually is, some figures seem to indicate about 30% of men as incels, but if it approaches a large constituency there will be social problems.

Personally I can witness a lot of it at the local level. All the people I knew growing up have turned into fuckin losers. None have formal education, only one has a family and that has only one child, none have careers, the majority are basically just glorified incels. Surprisingly few are radical, but then again most of them are not intellectual enough to stumble into that.

Anyways, the problem is coming to a head now that adulthood is dawning on this cohort. I think spreekillers are a very obvious function of this failure-to-adapt problem, although among the mature survivors I'm not sure what they'll do

apparently a japanese streetwalker costs about 90 bux and the transaction is completely legal. Even the list girls are only about 200 and there's no complications. If I wasn't going to feel like a filthy rat visting Nippon as a sex tourist I might actually contemplate doing this

Yes i know and i am not claiming otherwise. It is a fact that world populace was conditioned for materialistic selfishness (albeit not to full success) in the past 50 years or so. Biggest market consumers are women, corporate capitalism thrives on women buying products the most. Also there is nothing to explore, build, fight/fend off against, so women instinctually find men`s need for family useless so they close their legs.

But here is the kicker. It is a lie that there is nothing to do. Exploring and building is still there and the biggest form of it is space exploration and understading of it, but we live with people who are skeptical of it, those will hopefully die off. It took Black Death to pick and select for the best in Europe for New World to be explored and Renessiance to be born, very roughly speaking that is.

Verdict is, no one is going to save the fate of our planet and our people but ourselves.

stoicism is a luxury people who are deprived can't afford. Marcus Aurelius was the king of all Rome when he wrote that book, and his complaint was he couldn't control absolutely everyone around him as he'd have liked. You sound kind of young, but eventually these things catch up with you and it becomes more pronounced and not something you can merely dismiss with platitudes. If you've got nothing, as many thousands of men today now experience, no good will come of it. People just die
