In my opinion, with the exception of perhaps the United States, every single leftist liberal country on the planet is going to have to collapse before progress can happen. They have power because of technology and the control grid; only reducing the power of that technology and the state violence accompanying it to zero can allow authentic social change to happen. Otherwise it is simply building another tower of Babel, with each piece ever more precariously placed. The astroturfed media age of engineered social movements, engineered and performative intellectuals, court jesters and the like is simply taking us nowhere. Only massive political change on par with historic revolutions can really renew the social compact. Millions upon millions will have to be cast out, decades of social change will have to be reversed, virtually all popular culture will have to be tossed. The globalist ruling class will have to be castrated and kenneled. The eunuch class and leftist militias will have to be reduced and destroyed. Society will not be ruled by mass democracy, because it will have become untenable. At best small microliters with party memberships will recolonize society.  That's the long run of the change necessary to actually fix colony collapse syndrome. There was a strong breed once, now it is sick and diseases. Only radical change can fix it, but society prevents such changes from happening. No wonder people check out

This was true up until about 2016.

Since then, the word got out even to the dullards how this place can make uncanny shit happen. Governments, especially Israel and Russia, started investing heavily in controlling the narrative, but at this point there aren't very many powerful interests that aren't doing it. And now /pol/ has become more paid shills, bots, and trolls than real people. The magic is gone, dispersed at the moment of 4chan's greatest troll, creating the Donald Trump presidency.

Canada is eventually going to require a gov ID to get on the internet. Or so everyone thinks, it would be simpler to implement that you need a DL to use any form of accounted social media, which most NPCs think is the entire internet, and with dead internet theory, they might be right.

It is like how 4chan dropped to snails pace when the Iran war started and Isreal was getting bombarded. My suspicion is that 4chan has the same amount of users as here, but the bots and shills keep the board flowing and seem populated.
