Across the west, what do I see:

>if trends continue, we'll have a completely new form of government because we are looking at sociological, economic, and cultural system collapse
>our major countermeasure is to try and write totalitarian police state laws to keep the public from gestating the notion that their governance is criminal
>be surprised when demagogue characters like pic related begin appearing as fixtures in public life
I don't particularly identify with Nick the character, but people-who-resemble-Fuentes are the future is the trendline holds. Society can no longer be governed by the center, as the center itself has created a total policy disaster. So long as any form of speech and communication is allowed and the stable state is rejecting progressive liberalism, we will converge towards this new Zeitgeist.
