Exactly right. We amplify and clap for things that are helpful, and vocally reject things that aren't. If someone can argue convincingly that our interests will ultimately harmed in the very long run, that's a debate. There does not have to be a 5-dimensional conspiracy at play here. We advance our interests by forming strategic alliances with people who help us, and we help them as long as our interests coincide. So it's conditional, and it's based on the perspective of results rather than just grifting about whatever faddish trend happens to come along.

Elon does get it. He's opened his platform to us, he retweets what influential people think, and he goes off on places like JRE publicly talking about core aspects of our concerns. Actually near the end he even distinguishes that he does not really care about so-called "nazis", if they respect certain core red lines such as not starting world wars or committing genocidal crimes. Seems pretty reasonable. What more do people really expect? Do they think they can get access to a squeaky clean super-rich elite at the drop of a hat?
