I don't know, I've never been there, and I don't think you can trust any news out of China.  Half comes from the CCP, the other half from Falun Gong.  I don't think either one of them are reliable.  I think it is safe to say however, that what we've been told is going on there, and what's really going on, are probably 2 very different things.

But the social credit thing is a joke, it doesnt exist, it was western propaganda to paint China in bad light because its a legitimate threat to the West. Remember when RedNote or however is the app called, got influx of Westerners after a TikTok ban or something like that in the US. Chinese youth were confused and found funny that Westerners believe that in China people live under some social credit score. China is simply going through its golden age like US had one after it birthrates will collapsed and they will be swarmed by Indians, Africans and Arabs, end of story. But it doesnt have to be like that.

There is a petition against it, with 100,000 signatures bong parliament  will debate the matter.  It has over 2 million right now.  If you're a bong, you should sign it.  The more signatures it has, the harder it's going to be to ignore. If they ignore it, then your moral right to burn something down just increased dramatically.

In utterly corrupt countries like China, I have my little movie theater.  Times are bad, I can barely pay the rent on my building.   Some guy comes up and wants to buy a ticket.  Am I going to check his social credit score, and turn away 125 yuan if he doesn't make it?  Fuck that.  Gimme the money, go find a seat.  There's just a thousand reasons why that system would fail in a country like China.  Here though, we probably do have enough true believer, cocksucking, law abiding Karens  that would make it their life's work to make sure the system is a roaring success.   And they would take great pride in checking your score.  Like they do Jesus a favor every time they do it.
