There'd be about 7.7 brigades covering all of Canada.

So probably the Canadian insurgency would center around multiculti shithole cities in the greater Toronto and Vancouver region if American plays conventionally and made the mistake of invading the entire country. But, if the American army instead liberates friendly aligned party-turned militias in the hinterlands along the Rural Ontario-Manitoba-Sask-Alberta-Rural BC axis, letting them form umbrella governments aligned with the states, that is a very workable scenario based on popular opinion dynamics. What's more, the Americans could easily pressure and seriously degrade the capacity of the Canadian dictatorship by taking a conventional force approach on the major urban hubs. A prolonged Siege in Toronto could reduce the population by 60-70% or higher if flight abroad was allowed. The Canadian (Ontario) dictatorship would become so preoccupied with saving what it has left of the pie, that would likely cease sponsoring terrorism abroad in countries which don't' want their presence.
But this is just paperwork. Now is not the time for conventional war, it's the time for political movements to contest and define what it means to be Canadian. Toronto-Vancouver isn't Canada, it's a slave plantation run using foreigners who overwhelm the indigenous Canadian vote. The government is a form of revised colonial using the same scheming system of indirect rule and safety valves as before, the nominal notion of democracy rather than a meaningful one.
